With the majority of the group agreeing to surrender (and not making rude gestures) the islanders lowered their weapons under direction from their Prince. The maids followed directly after the Prince, the mercenaries followed after them and the two lieutenants followed at the back. As they exited the forest the Prince barked out orders to the islands still up, telling them to retrieve their unconscious brethren and report to the castle. As they climbed the ridge the Prince flew ahead, leaving the maids in charge. When they arrived he was alone and waiting for them and after a few quick words with the lieutenants, after which they rode ahead, he resumed leading them.

The first sign of civilization that mercenaries saw were two imposing fortresses set not much farther than a stone's throw away from each other. A single glance at them and it was clear they had been to withstand a war. After the forts fields of crops provided the scenery until the group arrived at the castle town.
Nearly the second they stepped through the gates the lively town had silenced to look at them. As they made their way to the castle the citizens gave them more than a wide enough berth, sticking to the walls of the nearby buildings as best as they could. The only sound came from their continued steps on the street. The silence persisted into the castle up until they arrived at what must've been the door to the throne room when a guard finally spoke.
"Drop your weapons here," the guard grunted as they gestured towards a chest off to the side. The Prince looked at them expectantly.
Rydell stepped forward and laid his weapons in the chest before moving off to the side. While he did that, rings were handed out to the monsters. Isaac slipped his on, but there didn't really seem to be anything different about him.
