Okay, so something I had planned was making damage a little more... robust so to speak and different.

This comes in the form of this:
Super Light weapons deal 1d4 damage base. Ex: daggers, kukri, etc. [Super light weapons have bonus to crit and chance to fully bypass armor.]
Light weapons deal 1d6 damage base. Ex: whips, short swords, axes, small mace, pistols, sickles, etc. [Light weapons have a better chance of crit, but not as much as super light.]
Medium weapons deal 1d8 damage base. Ex: Long swords, Waraxes, rifles, grenades, etc.
Heavy weapons deal 1d10 damage. Ex: Claymores, Warhammers, grenade launchers, Scythes, LMGs etc. [heavy weapons lower dodge rate and init, but not as much as super heavy.]
Super heavy weapons deal 1d12 base damage. Ex: Rocket launchers, Great Swords, Great Maces, Great Axes, Great hammers, War Scythe, etc. [Super Heavy weapons will slow you down, lowering your chance to dodge and initiative in exchange for raw power.]

 This will restructure damage into a formula like Weapon base+(STR or INT)+Bonuses. This does mean that magic damage and alchemy damage (when added <3) would also be changed over to this, which would be easy. Thoughts and who would be for this?

Just note, this does not change any bonuses the weapons grant. Only gives the weapon base damage used in calculating damage. If this does get added, then I may need to restructure AC to go along with it. (small possibility of it)

An explosive device focused on a small point of impact only does as much damage as a sword? Alright.

why would magic damage be restructured, it works as it is. Also, small weapons need perks to compensate for the low damage, and big weapons drawbacks for the big damage.
