Thinking on this game, it might be useful to turn on Universal Warehouses, in order to minimize micromanagement.

I am fine either way, I have never been fond of players using he starvation to plague strategy on B2 especially since now it is much easier to buy food there or bring it in on Smugglers or Obun Diplomatic Vessels.

Universal Warehouse On will make the game move faster in PBEM, I am more a traditionalist is solo player games but it can become tedious in PBEM.  I am fine either way since I am a natural micro-manager.

Am I suppose to be starting the game with "EFS" or "EFSHYP"?  I've been assuming EFSHYP, but am unsure.

Huh, I used EFS.exe exclusively during our last 9 turn attempt, but I have no idea.

Final decision on Warehouse On/Off and Plague(Starvation)?

I would prefer warehouse off and plague on, but not committed to either.

Otherwise all other settings should be:
Rebellion On
Combat Reports On
Tutorial Off
Consume Food On
And I believe everyone is set to beginner.

Well that is unfortunate. Fortunately as House al Malik, we have a little time to start this and find a temporary replacement at the same time. Although considering how long all this takes to setup and play you might just get your first turn just in time for your deadline to end.

You would be correct, and then the next in line would be Karlito I believe. Make sure to also send your password to him as well.

I think we are also going with beginner difficulty and default House traits.
 Although I'm going to get rid of Hawkwoods Charismatic Leadership bonus for Friend in the League which does almost nothing. Potentially +40 loyalty for very unit is overpowered as all hell. +20 is more reasonable.

Can i still join? I would prefer to play as House Decados. I have no experience in playing PBEM in EotFS, but i have already many times participated in other PBEM games and one time managed to finish EotFS in singleplayer.
