one-eyed brute meat x4
FOUR WHOLE ROAST DEMONS

Also I see a quote of mine in Salmeuk's sig, nice to be appreciated.

Just for visualization of that, that meat stack is over twelve times the mass of your standard dwarf.  Volume-wise, meat is a little heavier than organs, but still should be similarly huge, as you obviously have more meat than organs.

Heh, sausage grinder.  I'd kind of want to see the butcher shop scraps, though...

And maybe they should try a pot?  Those have twice the capacity!

There is a pot, and the scraps other than that one bone was hauled off to make *Demon Bone Bolts*

You know. so they can kill more demons with them.

They actually just left it on the floor. Anything bigger than 60 units won't fit in a barrel or pot, but won't rot.

It's in a stockpile. I hoard my massive meals like trophies. The smaller ones I give away in the thousands to the caravan - I produce enough food to feed my fort for ten years, every year.

So your food stockpile just consists of mountains of blood-braised ground demon?

No, there are some titan and forgotten beast roasts in there.

But I just unretired, so my food stockpile right now looks like a pile of meat and plants on top of a pile of barrels, all floating in knee-deep booze.

So, add a few socks, and it's Dwarf Heaven?

Are they wallowing in it like a pig in mud?

No, because Bay 12's image of dwarves does not align exactly with actual game dwarves. And because I cleaned up the booze.

Unless whip vine flour is significantly different. I don't think I need to draw this one.

Cook: Behold, for I have invented... BREAD! A delicious staple with plenty of energy and few toxins, almost no negative health effects, and simple, tasty and easy to make!

*Thoughtful mastication*

Urist McHauler: Do you think it would go better with a little bit of polar bear liver, pufferfish meat, vodka and monkey brain?

polar bear liver: Lethal amounts of beta carotene
Pufferfish meat: Fugu is lethal if prepared improperly
Vodka: Is vodka
Monkey brain: Good way to get a spongiform disease.

I'm guessing that's the point, though.

Also, have you ever made bread?

that crap is NOT easy to make.

Fair point, never tried it myself.

Never tried Fugu or polar bear liver or vodka, though. The right way to cook with the last one being not all, though it's technically are edible ingame.

I made bread before, first time round they were not distinguishable from hockey pucks or a piece of wood with a thin layer of crust.
