I has a question:

Can we science up spells that aren't in actual MTG?

If you want a spell that actually does something, No. If you want just a mana bolt, it will deal like 1 damage.

Dependent on the damage roll. It would be be 1d6 vs 1dToughness of the creatures, and even then creatures have at least 2 life.

Stiiill enough to kill shit~

Also why not for researching magics later?

Like, obviously can't freeform in the middle of combat, but if you sit down and study and practice at it for a while, would make sense to figure out a unique spell or two.

Kev, seriously, if you can think of a spell, it's in there.

Also, I goddamn love those boots.

A spell that shoots penises.

A spell that makes a mound of potatoes.

Rapid growth on a random nearby plant in a way that turns it into a giant stationary man eating flytrap.

A spell that shoots lasers of pinto beans from your eyes.

I can think of a lotta shit that isn't there.

all but one of those would be joke cards. The last one is called a Saproling.

I mean a stationary one. Not a mobile saproling. Meaning would have increased toughness at the cost of not being able to follow. Great for sealing chokepoints.

But regardless. I think sciencing magic would make sense.

The only people shown to have personal spells like that are ridiculously badass... For planeswalkers. You know... Jace.

However magic makes sense to be freeform.
