*she mimics your voice and accent here, pretty much perfectly. It's sort of jarring.

((It occurs to me this would be alot easier if the GM ever answered my question about if I could send thoughts. :P

...then again, the GM hasn't posted in a week, tho he seems to be online recently. Are you still with us, Slothman?))

"Alt? Long Job?"

"I'm working on it!"
Elias continues to try and crack the cuffs.

(Sorry about the inactivity.)

A clarification about Minor Telepathy: it can be used to understand and speak any language, but it relies on sound or action. Only higher levels of telepathy can communicate using thoughts alone. Also it can be used to determine the motivations behind actions. With a very high roll, random surface thoughts can be determined.

Kraj:
You attack the officer again.(20+2Critical Success) He is dead before he hits the ground. The other officer has bled out by this time. The humans seem to have run away. You also hear a distant whirring. There is probably some kind of patrol craft on its way. The military taking the city and instituting martial law would be a problem for you.

Zhur:
The situation seems to have resolved itself with the officers. You look around and don't see anyone in the alley other than yourself and Kraj. You run to find the humans. They are communicating with their strange human words. They don't look very happy to see you.

Elias:
You try to free Joan.(12+2) you successfully free her. You hear the gunshots in the distance growing closer. There is also a strange whirring growing louder at the same rate. They are probably coming from the north. The nearest city gate is to the south. A few miles outside the gate there is an old bomb shelter. It has guns and ammunition in it. Your comrades to the north probably have guns and ammunition, and might need assistance. Also the big Dirge is following you. He doesn't seem hostile, but its hard to tell with reptilians. It might be some kind of trick.

Joan:
After an entire conversation about the slang you use, Elias finally removes the cuffs. The sounds in the distance are growing louder. The big Dirge approaches the two of you. You're a much better judge of these things than Elias, and you don't think he's hostile.

"Your call, Miss Mind-Reader. Is the big guy chill?"

Zhur launches into his best imitation of human dialect. He's had a bit of practice. Hopefully he's got the social nuances right.

"Dude, bro, that's, like, not even a question. I am the chillest. I only got one dirgebro, too, and he's doubleplusunchill with the Man - the Dirge, yeah? So no need to neg my jive, bro. Dude," he says to Elias.

"Yeah, Miss Mind-Reader dude's got my back. Chillest dirgebro you can ask for, right here. And there's my own dirgebro, too, he knows some fucked-up dirgebros. He's seen some shit. And dude's got a gun, too. I've got a kickass sword," he continues, displaying his officer's sword. It's a bit scratched, but in rather good condition, and probably not an imitation, either.

"He jive, he jam, he hisskin master plan! ...Then, what say, we do shredshred? Neg strat, fryup outlight.

Edgwise, nizzle rizzle Longclaw."
She says admiringly, pointing to the sword.

Elias's face goes through some strange controtions as he tries to prevent himself from cracking up.
Spoiler: Surface thoughts: (click to show/hide)

"My dude-bro! That's so chill! Us two dudes here," he says, gesturing to himself and Joan, "are part of the resistance! We're going to grab some super-chill weapons from a dank safe house outside of town so we can help our bros. We can't take you with us, bro, 'cause it's top secret. Ya chill with that?"

"Yeah, bro. I'd be down for that, too," Zhur says, thinking for a second. "But what about that dank safe house, dude? The top secret one? Ya gonna check that later after I forget ya told me about it?"
