Each of us (not including the God guy) shall emit an orb of light. All of the orbs will come together in a obviously telegraphed attack sequence. Then, sucker kick him while he's distracted. Send one guy to the other side of the room, though.

"Fine with me. But I want to pick the arena."

"This can be arranged. However, some scenarios are not supported so I'll retain right to veto. What kind of arena you had on your mind?"

"This city. I'm sure the spectators would love to see what would happen if there were a fight here. Not like it'd be causing any real damage anyway, right?"

Wearing his trademark static smile Gene stares you for two seconds too long to be comfortable.

"Very interesting choice, I must say! The city is not fully modelled in our systems at the moment, but I'll check with our magnificent technicians whether we can use the modelled portion or not. One moment!"

Gene disappears to technicians booth in backstage and returns a minute later smiling brightly.

"Alright! The next match is..."

Beirus vs Gene White!
"As per request from Beirus the match will take place in our very own city! Primary area will be near Central Police Station approximately one kilometer south from here! This means it will include lots of buildings and traffic! Also probably lots of police activity! I certainly hope to get some bullet resistance..."

Gene walks to the table where sealed card decks are kept and draws four decs. "Since Beirus has 4 decks worth of cards I too draw four decks and see what I get. Let's see. Useless, useless, useless..." He starts discarding cards from his hands and takes new ones in their place. Standard 4-to-1 switch. "Ooh, nice! I'm getting lots of plants, but I guess this hand will be quite killer! One fantastic creature, four mutations and two pieces of equipment."

Ozarck vs ATHATH!

"Only time when I change color is when I bathe in blood. Let's make it happen sooner than later, mkay?"

Your muscles warm up as you wade towards commotion, but cold is still quite unpleasant and remains of acid rain burn your legs, thankfully its low concretion makes the burns mostly superficial but painful. Sounds of combat grow louder and eventually you come across a ruined red building. A type of antarctic research station. Its ceiling is mostly fallen off and walls are suffering of serious corrosion, probably because of the acid. It is mostly surrounded by some unpleasant looking dark field. The field doesn't seem to do anything to the enviroment or the burning figures fighting in the southern hallway.

From what you can tell is that there's group of winged horse-ghostrider hybrids fighting against a mace wielding human. Imagine this mixed with this.

"You fool! You think god of fire wouldn't notice being of fire sneaking behind him! Which means you are mine!" The mace wielding human shouts.

Your armor instantly chimes into your ears: "A real god here! What a treat! Let's kill him too!"

Distraction goes wonderfully. Girru prepares to repel your fake mass magic attack when Daniel goes for sucker kick. Or he tries to. Girru notices the kick and side steps it easily despite of his wounded leg.

"You fool! You think god of fire wouldn't notice being of fire sneaking behind him! Which means you are mine!"
He grabs Daniel by shoulder and draws fire out of it. Not completely but enough make his fire flicker and weak.

"Er... would you stop trying to kill us if we serve you?"

"Yes, but I would curse you instead for trying to force me commit a murder on your behalf!"

If not, just keep kicking him. He'll die eventually, right? Have one us not kick him, and instead summon something else with power 50 to fight him with.

Of all the luck. He starts in the shelter, while I start in the frozen wilderness. And even though he has to battle his own summon, my armor wants to battle it too. And on top of that, it wil probably hate my armor from the very start.

"Okay, armor, see that dark field? probably not healthy for us, kinda like NAV's towers. As for the god, I think we can consider it an ally for now, so no attacking it until necessary. Let's get the lay of the land, and remember something: ATHATH has some illusion based magic, or did last game. He might not think to enter your mind, so I want you to tell me if you see things different than I do." I circle around to the red spot outside the field - that's part of the station right? I try to remain unseen as I do. I approach the edge of the dark field and see if I can get a sense of what it is or does.
I cast a spell of rage on the horses, so they lose control and attack mindlessly (like NAV cast on me). I also whisper "activate" to my ring, to see if it's power is activated that simply.

Ozarck vs ATHATH!

"Tsk. To ally with a god... The very idea disgusts me. Does it look like I have eyes? I can't see what you see in first place."

You go around the station from eastern side carefully, but it seems that ATHATH has his attention fixed on his summon and talking with it, so you are safe from detection at the moment. The station is actually on legs, standing just a meter above snow level.

The dark field, which kinda looks like a lake of ethreal slowly waving black oil, doesn't in feel like anything when observed from outside, so the only choice you have left with is to poke your hand in. Your senses register nothing besides your hand gaining same black wavy cover when you stick your hand beneath it. It is probably safe since ATHATH and his summon are fighting happily inside. If anything, its effect could be aimed directly against the god leaving non-divine beings unaffected.

Now then, time to make ATHATH's life suck. You induce uncontrolled rage into his mind and you can see its effects instantly. As it turns out, making him rage might have not been such a great idea, since ATHATH is now wiping floor with the god. Seriously. One of his many bodies puts his foot directly through its torso from behind. You may seeing things, but it almost looks like he kicked its heart out...
"So much for an ally!" Your armor chimes happily.

Now more than ever you really need to figure out what the ring does! You whisper the command. Something happens. You feel... like kinda out of the world. You are clearly still there but somehow you still feel like you are not. Odd.

Oh, you didn't pay attention to it earlier, but snow didn't fall around the station for some reason. Now it starting to fall again. And snowflakes are falling through you. Very odd.

"Yes, but I would curse you anyway for trying to force me commit a murder on your behalf! Such sacrilege won't go unpunished."

He does in fact stop trying to kill you, so you can take a breather. Except the whole idea of being cursed for just trying to survive rises rage inside you so renew your furious onslaught against this petty excuse of god!

Jack tries to summon another random lesser god but fails to produce anything. Dave standing next to the god kicks him to the face, but miscalculates the distance so his kick ends up being rather feeble. The god doesn't take kindly breaking parley so he responds in kind, but Dave bobs and weaves through his attack. Frank's kick likewise goes wide past him, but everyone else strikes true! Ivan's and Erik's kicks do not cause much more than bruises, but Charlie breaks the god's unhurt leg. Bart ups his damage output and sharp kick into mace wielding arm almost tears the arm off!
  But the combo Harry and Gregor pulls off is the winner. Harry performs double kick into the god's chest, shattering plenty of ribs and leaving deep impression of hooves and best of all, sending him flying into Gregor's kick. With strength of rocket assisted sled he puts his feet directly through the god's back and out from front, kicking the heart out of his chest!
 
The god slumps onto the floor as Gregor pulls his feet out of the corpse. Mere moments later its body turns into ash in burst of divine fire, leaving only the heart and the mace behind.

You have killed a god. Or at least his avatar. Be careful to not summon him again.

-sigh- really? Weak. aim their rage at each other, or make it totally blind rage, so they simply lash out at whatever. Additionally, remind me if sacred aura's effect can be upgraded? if so upgrade toward devotion.

Upgrade options for Sacred Aura's effect are: Calmness and reverence, Innocence and purity, Desire for betterment, Religious ecstasy, Guilt and shame, Sublime majesty. Religious ecstasy is probably closest to devotion, so let's go with that.

You can't see it clearly from here, but ATHATHs scream in frustration and pool around some of himself. Sounds like breaking bones too!

Gary grabs the mace and Charlie loots the heart. Fred, who was hit by the mace earlier, has now his whole torso and upper arms numb. It's getting hard for him to stay upright.

Ashes are cooling very rapidly, so you can't use it as a campfire. The heart is still pretty warm, but not warm enough to prevent you from freezing.

That bastard god is gone, but your anger is not. Instead it grows even greater. Performance of David, Eddie and Frank was really substandard, especially since they were slow enough to get hurt! Annoying! So damn annoying! Failure will not be tolerated! All proof of such must be erased out of existance!

Dave strikes Eddie weakly, Eddie strikes Frank and slaps his jaw sideways and makes him fall over. Everybody else pools up and starts beating the three shame. The final result is that both Frank and Dave are permanently removed from existance and Erik lays on floor with all limbs broken. You are almost done with removing the proof! So close!

Feels little odd to be the one dealing the punishment and receiving it at the same time, but what you can do?
