Torimus would take his seat, and, hearing that there's a partner-based assessment, he'd be rather annoyed.

He doesn't like working with people.

He doesn't like a lot of things.

But he'd look around, seeing if there's anyone else without a group he can work with.

Well, there's that kid who blows stuff up.

Eh, he'll work.

"Yo. No partner?"

Darren looks up.
"Oh, no. No partner."

Kiri sits on a nearby desk and reads what Khmo has currently.

"The blue is just an emotional tinge, specifically nervousness, every emotion has a different color. The primary color is the color of the Kitsune's aura and soul. Mine just happens to be purple. No idea what yours is. Actually prolly should figure that out."

"The taste is specific to the emotion and the person it came from, nervousness is sweet until it becomes sickening in large quantities, you only ate a lil of it though."

Kiri forms a small ball of raw foxfire and hands it to Kumo. It's just a vivid purple, no emotion to tinge it.

"Eat this and try to visualize it as it's absorbed. Then draw it out and form it into a ball above your hand. Should be fairly instinctual but might take a few tries."

Should Kumo eat it, he would find it has no real taste, although it gives a sensation of energy.

Thomas raises his hand
"Um.. I don't know any magic, though I want to learn"

"Anyone, even humans, can learn magic with enough study. Heck, a few of our students are humans who did just that."

Madi looks at who else is in the Magic 101 class.

There's Thomas, Alaric, Kumo, Kiri, Oswald, Alice, Ripols, Torimus, and Darren.

Alaric requires a partner.

History of Supernaturals

Maguyuk looks around before raising her hand uncertainly.
"Not long after humans did?"

"That's correct. The first Supernaturals were around with the first humans. Where do you think all those myths came from?" she glances at Demitri, frowns, then continues. "Now, a bit of a test to see where you are..." she starts handing out an assessment.

Kumo takes the foxfire, holds it, and looks at it for a while.
   Flames, but neither red nor yellow.
Kumo puts it in his mouth, and lets it stay there, burning.
   Fire, but cold, not hot.
Kumo lets it absorb, trying to visualize it, while trying to form his own. He holds his hand in front of him, and focuses.
   Power, but from within, not without.
Kumo draws power from within him, stirring there, into his hand and...
Nothing happens.

"Foxfire is both lightning and fire at once, yet neither. Did you focus on just one aspect rather than both?"

"That might depend on the supernatural you're referring to, though."
