The teacher yawns as the class files in. "OK guys. You're here, so I'm just going to assume that you are in this class. We're starting at the beginning. So, does anyone have a guess about when the first Supernaturals started popping up?"

Magic 101

Darren scribbles in answers to the questions presented in the assessment, albeit a little slowly due to his gloves. His answers are correct a little under half of the time, but it seems to be more just by gut logic and common sense more than anything; on any actual technical knowledge it's obvious he knows nothing, though he does make an effort to describe what he's seen of his magic with the technical terms provided. It makes for a bit of a simplistic description, but the teacher'd likely be able to understand what he means. Overall, he does okay.

After he's done - advantage of knowing nothing is that you don't have to waste time thinking of the right answers - he looks around for anyone who seems like they'd need help.

Kumo is in Magic 101

Kumo is in the back of the classroom again, less attention.
Hm... but I don't know any magic.
Kumo just sits there, trying to make sense of the test. But he does note a thing or two about foxfire, it's purple and blue appearance, and that it tastes sweet.

Kumo turn to face Madi.

"Alright. Lucky for you, I use magic frequently."
Madi began bubbling along with Kumo, the vast majority of which, were correct answers.

Selina sits in the class patiently, not wanting to draw attention to herself as she now consciously works to make sure she doesn't float through her chair now, keeping herself mostly solid now as she listens.
