Well, shoot.

If I survive this turn, will I automatically die due to being below the maximum size?

Either way, Run right into the water, absorb enough to not die.

It would be better to reabsorb your own mass.

I request the posibility of performing PMed actions! Or at least a gentlemen's agreement where we don't read spoilered actions or something.

No, not at all. You have enough mass at the moment, it's just that your current density forces your size to be a certain, well size that you just cannot support. You can either change density and I'll change size accordingly, or you can change size and I'll change density accordingly.

Since you rolled a 6 on the RTnD you don't have to worry about the usual penalties associated with shape-change. Also, you can't jump into the Heavywater Basin (I should probably clarify that this arena is the remains of a nuclear power plant) since it is surrounded by walls that are too high for you. The only way in is through the catwalk that Blrg is currently on.

Now that I told you this, you should probably change your action.

((How can I digest that mass? Is that an action or does out happen over time?))
It just happens over time, the eye mush should be done by the end of this turn. The corpse will take a while though (I suggest leaving it, it isn't worth it)

Ninjaed

Whoops Tomcost, I'll explain to you why I'm against PM's. The main reason why is because of the fact I want this to be an RTD that is fun to watch as well as fun to play. If you want I can PM you stuff such as information that you gain from investigations, such as when you investigated that barrel. Also I want players to be able to react to attempts to assassinate them.

So let's take this for example:

Slog with a pynocitosis stat of 11 attempts to attack Chell who has a 0 of it.

Chell notices the attempt on her life and runs like hell.

Now if this was Pmed this would happen.

Chell: Begin digging hole

GM: suddenly slog attacks and with a pynocitosis stat of 11 you die.

As you can see, it's frustrating for the victim and the audience just views it as a diabolous ex machina. Of course what I just presented to you was just a strawman but it expresses my basic ideas.

I will be glad to further debate this. Who knows, maybe the system we develop from this may be used to improve the Pm systems of other forum games as well.

Use precisely controlled sol-gel transitions to break open the mosquito and tear it into smaller pieces, in hopes of harvesting some more mass.

"Brrlg!"

Horrified by his imagination, Brgle tries to escape the lake!

If he sees Sludge and deems him dangerous - there is only one that would survive! Pynocitosis!

Alternatively - head south to investigate barrels.

Okay, here's my action:

Drop the rock, then increase size as much as I can to hopefully become more agile, then quickly move towards the bear fight and scoop the additional mass that was formerly from Glorp, then quickly grab the compressed deer meat and run away towards the pile of rocks where I was spawned.

If I'm attacked, retaliate with pynocitosis, or furiously launching the compressed deer in their direction.

Turn 2: Part 1

Sludge

Use precisely controlled sol-gel transitions to break open the mosquito and tear it into smaller pieces, in hopes of harvesting some more mass.
Sludge attempts to grind the mosquito corpse[3-1 Low density penalty]

Sludge attempts to grind the mosquito corpse into smaller pieces with precisely controlled sol-gel transitions but he couldn't get the precise part down, nor the controlled part either. Despite this sloppy attempt, the corpse doesn't look any less intact than before.

On the bright side, Sludge has finished digesting the mosquito eyes and has gained 4kg of liquid. Sludge grows 3 liters larger.

Blrg

"Brrlg!"

Horrified by his imagination, Brgle tries to escape the lake!

If he sees Sludge and deems him dangerous - there is only one that would survive! Pynocitosis!

Alternatively - head south to investigate barrels.
Seeing that Sludge isn't attacking him,Brgle moves south and looks at the barrel. The barrel has a Rad symbol on it as well.

[5] You assume that all of the barrels here have the same contents inside them.

David the gold

Move behind the bear and transform as mentioned.
David the gold's attempt at getting behind the bear[1]

David accidentally bumps into the barrel and spills it. What comes out looks like some sort of toxic sludge. David tries to sneak up on the bear again but falls into the crater.

Crater depth [4]

The crater looks to be quite deep and a bit of a challenge to climb. Not impossible but it will require some effort.

Blobby Part 1

Okay, here's my action:

Drop the rock, then increase size as much as I can to hopefully become more agile, then quickly move towards the bear fight and scoop the additional mass that was formerly from Glorp, then quickly grab the compressed deer meat and run away towards the pile of rocks where I was spawned.

If I'm attacked, retaliate with pynocitosis, or furiously launching the compressed deer in their direction.
Blobby drops the rock and tries to grow as large as possible

Blobby Increases his size [2]

Bobby's size fails to change. Tomcost, do you want to change the rest of your action?

Glorp

In that case, Decrease size just enough not die, then attempt to jump onto the bears muzzle, and begin to absorb its eyes.

You attempt to increase your size (not decrease, your size is currently too low) [1]

 :(

Roll to Not Die [4-2]

:-[

Whelp.... It was nice knowing you.

Your slime decompresses too quickly. This unexpected speed literally rips you apart as the momentum launches chunks into the air, and some into the bear. What's left is a watery mess. Your explosion also knocks over one of the barrels.

*Level 1 water-slime Glorp(Peradon), is dead*

(So this is a milestone for me as a GM. I've killed my first player :( )

Since you rolled a 6 on the RTnD you don't have to worry about the usual penalties associated with shape-change.
Quote
Adjusting density is a free action with no penalties (Since you rolled a 6).

Well I didn't explicitly say that you wouldn't have to roll although I do understand how you might have misinterpreted "no-penalties" that way. Usually what happens is that whenever you make any sort of shape change, you get a sort of "summoning sickness" that adds a small penalty to your actions. The 6 made it so that you wouldn't get that summoning sickness. Sorry about the confusion.

Normally I would suddenly perform a GM ex Machina and bring you back to life (since I feel partly responsible for the communication error and your death) but no matter what you did, you would have still died. If you tried to kill the bear, the bear would counterattack and kill you because you rolled a 1. If you tried reabsorbing your chunk, the 1 would have made you add your mass to the chunks instead of the other way around killing you. If you did nothing, you would have rolled a 1 on the RTnD and then died. That is the danger of playing a game with RNG, sometimes you lose no matter what you do.

The only thing you could have done differently would have been to hide from the bear on the first turn instead of attacking the deer. Sorry.....

Here are what the current results of the RTnD are:

[6] You survive. Changing density is a free action with no penalties (except rolling dice)
[5] You survive. nothing changes
[4] You survive. You cannot RTnD anymore unless you don't trigger it for 2 turns.
[3] You die
[2] You die
[1] You die

Since this game is still in a beta in my opinion. I would love to hear your suggestions about how things can be changed.

Try to climb out and shove myself down the bears throat. if I'm too big do the splitting thing. I'm obviously immune to stomach acid as I drain it.
