Hatred goes to Baba Yaga, and she replaces all 4 scroll randomly with ones of equal level.

The monk gets his gem appraised and tried to sell them
he has
Chalcedony (opaque white)
Jasper (opaque black)
Star rose quartz
Spoiler: star rose quartz (click to show/hide)

and a garnet (transparent red)

persuasion: 7
the offered price for them is 250, the normal price. Do you accept?

You song gathers a crowd and you delight them with you music. So people actually started dancing around you. After you are done you performance, people cheer and applaud  you. The dancing people come and tell you "your music was wonderful" and "thanks for the fun".

Hatred tries to discern the scrolls before trying to teach steel more. Await farther orders from the guild (damnit calista, hurry it up! I gave you a job to do!)

Screw that. Make my own quest. Round up the others! We have one day to do this!

Gawain stretches languidly and jumps off the wagon, nodding at the wagon driver once he is down. Now in Rosewall, he heads towards the nearest bar.

Look around at the patrons and, assuming Hatred isn't there, go to the bar. Order a drink and try to engage the man in talk. Persuade him to give any information he may have on a Tiefling, possibly in the company of a child.

he tell you he hasn't hear anything of the sort. but that there are only a few tieflings in the city so it shouldn't be to hard to find.

Nod and finish the drink. Using investigation, search the streets until I find a suitably shady element I can pump for information.

you end up finding hatred looking around the exotic district just about to look for maya. The monk descends from above as you find Hatred.
