So he doesn't like them either? Nice to have an ally, I suppose.

Noel thought about his request for a moment, arms folded, eyes on the ground.

"That... is a difficult question to answer. I haven't known your friend long but she seems like a staunch supporter of their beliefs and goals. It is like... a fly in a spider's web. It will be very tricky to unravel the strands around her."

"Of course I'll try to help you, but I doubt she will listen to much I have to say."

Noel leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms in front of him and crossing his legs at the ankles.

"You know her best. Where do you think she stands?"

"It's really more the principle of the matter, you know? Also you can relax. I highly doubt Noel's going to do anything terrible to your boyfriend. Irios does seem to be able to take care of himself for the most part."

[F.O.E.]

The fact that Noel was willing to help was a huge relief to Irios.

"That's just the thing, I'm not entirely certain where she stands. It sorta feels like she's in some limbo between the Sect and me. They've made it clear they'd be pleased if I disappeared but if anything she's just tried to protect me more."

"But... If I were to try and make her leave now, I'm pretty sure she'd side with them over me."

Giuseppina does a little awkward shuffle and shrugs.
:"Yeah... I guess. I guess... uh... if you HAD to go with a nickname, maybe Pina. . .?"

[Swordstar]

Kerr quietly let out a sigh.

_{"It's no fun when you stop protesting..."}

"Alright... Giuseppina. It's a mouthful but I guess I can use it. Though, I might use Pina in a battle situation if I need to get your attention quickly. If I tried to use your full name, an enemy could gut me before I was halfway done."

:"Heh... yeah. My family likes long names. My dad's name is Feliciano."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Hmm. I see. Well, that does present at least two options: wipe out the Sect excluding her and you - which is very likely out of the question, of course - or try to make her value you more than the Sect. Whether we do this by increasing her opinion of you or decreasing her opinion of the Sect, or both... Hmm. I suppose we can assign you the former task and me the latter?"

"Yeah, I was the lucky one of us brothers. Kerr's a real easy name to say. Aurelian on the other hand... Well, you can see why I call him Aur."

[F.O.E.]

"Yeah, that sounds like the best plan for right now. And, uh, thanks for helping me out." He scratched the back off his head.

"I'd admittedly be a bit lost without your help."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Noel held up a hand.

"It's not entirely selfless. I get the feeling Ayzebel would as soon stab me in the back as look at me, and I don't particularly like having to be paranoid."

"...Nevertheless, you're welcome. I'll try to do my part."

:"Pfff, I just call him Aurelian! It's easier than my name."

[GiglameshDespair]

Ayz responded to Kerr with a vague noise of annoyance.

"It is not Noel injuring Irios I am concerned about." Not just, at any rate. "We do not know and cannot trust the people here."

[Swordstar]

"Fair enough, I can agree with that for sure. And they'll be fine. They're literally right outside. If something were to happen, they'd yell out and we'd be outside before anything serious happened. Besides, Noel's clearly competent enough to protect them for at least a little."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Hmmph. There are poisons and magics that paralyse or induce sleep quickly or instantly. I doubt Noel has the greatest fortitude to resist such."

[Swordstar]

"Well, typically those who use magic are better defended against other magics. So if anything, those two are two of the better equipped in our group to face those sorts of magics. And I still think you're being paranoid. Yes, we might get attacked or something, but they're literally right outside. Just relax."
