Not at all. I dislike the 'PERSONALITY' bit. For once (technically twice) I'm ok with the 'BACKGROUND' requirement since it's actually relevant to the game, namely your character's goal.

PERSONALITY: Regina is (was?) a temperamental and determined person-she tends to feel very strongly about whatever she decides to believe in, investing her emotions totally and without reservation. She forms strong bonds and bitter rivalries with the people she meets very quickly, and rarely changes her mind once her conceptions have been formed. And yet, this is tempered by her disdain for showing emotion, a sad by product of a closed childhood-she rarely shows her emotions openly, often mystifying those who call her friend-or enemy. She is more likely to bear betrayal with stony silence, than angry words. A lover or a best friend may earn just a small smile to show favor. Regina can be cold-blooded at times, calculating, cruel and vindictive-but her true core is the mindset of a gardener-one who wishes to find her own small place in the world and keep it safe. And, what if this Garden is threatened-or ruined? Her personal code can only apply the harshest terms of redress. Her true personal tragedy is her inability to see past the destruction to what she could reuild from the ashes.

BACKGROUND: Regina Boulanger was once no more than a noblewoman enjoying the rich city life, happily married to a soldier named Duncan...she and her husband were content with the quiet life-she was drawn into the wars of her city state of Bonap was attacked by her neighbor city, Willheim. A Willheim sniper shot her husband as he walked the walls one night during the siege...the person she was, Regina-who had been reserved to the situation beforehand-vowed revenge against them-a personal vendetta that would eventually earn her a role in Bonap's spy ring. She stole secrets, seduced and killed, performed acts of sabotage..even after the war was over, she continued to serve-keeping the memory of her beloved Duncan close to her heart. Of course, spies tend to have a short life expectancy...Regina was cornered by four men with longswords in a dark alley. She wasn't sure if her luck had run out, she had been outfoxed finally, or if she had been betrayed by her own. There was nothing left but the clash of blade to flesh and bone.

She got three.

Regina died in a rage, vowing revenge on whoever had finally ended her bitter crusade. At last, she hoped she could see Duncan again, on the other side, if there was an other side (She had never believed there was)...her last thought was if he would even recognize the person she had become.
