Playergamer bows his head. "I apologize, 4maskwolf. We're all on edge, as you can see, and it has us jumping to conclusions. We don't truly believe you could do something like this."

Quote me something and tell me what I should think it is town or scum? go ahead any somethings.
OK, can do. See these spoilers.
Spoiler: Quotes from Roo (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Posts by Peradon (click to show/hide)

Roo Please tell me you can understand what I'm trying to say by this. Please, when posting, combine quotes into one post instead of rapid-firing them, and please put more thought into what you're saying instead of antagonizing the other players.

Peradon Who, if anyone, would you vote first based on a purely gut-based instinct and previous games with them? Based on the early day 1 banter?

Playergamer Do you define "Active-lurking" as something different from "Lurking", and is "Active-lurking" separate from "Day 1 lurking" and exempt to it's rules?

I am beginning to see the problem.

While voting me you are also instructing me. This makes zero sense. While people might think you are trying to be helpful and extending a hand. They miss the fact that you are trying to get me lynched. Reading what I say through colored eyes and any interaction with anyone I am automatically the boogeyman because of my personality. Which is fine, but trying to tell me how to play while trying to get me lynched implies that you simply don't like how I play and are trying to use that to your advantage. Since you pointed out posts that you think are scummy I assume you are voting me for those reasons. You make a point to say how billigerent I am so people will focus on that all the while ignoring the actual content which is laughable.
1.) You call me out for being "needlessly long", but in effect do the the exact same thing. Using multiple words that are sending the exact same message. Calling the kettle black eh? I used a single line of thought whereas you are using multiple reasons to back up a single ultimate reason, which are all essentially the same.
2.) You agree with me that nothing useful has happened instead of saying you "caught" me. Is that not something useful? Or am I just being sensitive over being called nothing? And I could do a lot of things. But why bother doing something that everyone is doing and is clearly not working. Why not break that cycle by doing something different and unconventional. Was I being aggressive(?) I don't think so. I voted for someone I wanted to see what he would do he omgused and flipped his shit. said a blatant lie that I was "active lurking" a real life day into the game 5 pages in and you supported that. If pg flips scum then I thing you are likely town. If he flips town I think you are very likely scum. It is clear that one of you is buddying the other looking at your posts.
3.) I think I already addressed this but I will again because I think It is that important. In no way can you say that me agreeing with someone's philosophy on df play and someone semi relating it to the game is alignment indicative. When you throw that out its like you're talking out of your ass at that point. It doesn't even begin to compute that it is even remotely scummy.
4.) as far as me antagonizing other players I seriously don't mean any ill will its just my way. I know I piss people off I know I'm not the nicest person but I'm not gonna change who I am over night. I just started playing again in a new environment with new people. I admit I find some of the advice rather useless, but it's a good reminder that I'm not with thick skinned people or people who know I don't mean anything by what I say in game.

Playergamer by far. If you look at roo's other games, like the current GBU and the BM, he was basically exactly like he is now. He comes from(I think) a different site, probably with a pure RVS, and with a very aggressive playstyle. Playergamer is voting or him based on null-posting and active lurking. We are one RL day in the game, how can you be active lurking? That makes no sense at all.

Roo, I highly suggest you alter your playstyle, because you are making people really mad. First off, you could try to keep this clean, saying the n-word just makes people want to lynch you. Second, try making your posts a little less aggressive and more comprehensive.
I can't help but smile at this. lol. yeah this is definitely gonna take awhile. oh man talk about being sensitive. it's a word you said it as well. n-word is the same thing as nigger. You make the person think the word. I might be beating a dead horse here. fine whatever if it bothers you that much I'll stop saying nigger. [(Even though I bet you use it irl). <- willing to put money on that]

Peradon, why are you voting me? I recalled my active lurk call, which you may have missed, and I'm voting him for null posting + sarcasm, and general unhelpfulness.
Actually, I did miss that. Unvote.

Really I have no idea how to vote in this. I personally dont think that there is even a scum, and its town vs town.
I don't like this Unvote at all. Why was his pointing out his mistake and covering it up worthy of an Unvote? He was staunch about my lurking then said no no that's not why I'm voting him this is actually why. explain the Unvote.

I unvoted because I dont exactly find him scummy. In fact, I dont find anyone scummy, which is partly why I think that this is town vs town.

If I knew you IRL, I would take that bet. If you think everyone curses recklessly, you must lead a sad life.

No, I was being serious. I know I would be depressed if I had a complete lack of faith that there were any decent people out there. It was not my intention to offend you, and I'm sorry if I did.

Quote from: Gourdian origamiscienceguy
Origamiscienceguy seconds. "Yes! Why would he not pick a side? If he did, the argument would be over quickly. He must be trying to tear this council apart!
Gourdian Dani wrinkles their squash-like nose at this. "Gourdian origamiscienceguy! This is an outrage! We decide by compromise, and such is impossible if either side has the most powerful among us tucked in their pocket!"
Quote from: Gourdian flabort
Gaurdian Flabort mused mostly to himself.
"The
same darkness?" he mumbled, "Could they be the culprits, insighting us to a blind attack to destroy what's left? Isn't that just what they want?"
"If they believe that we are so easily incited to war amongst ourselves, then surely they underestimate our might."

---
Dani What would you do if instead of Roo and PG right now it were you and OSG respectively in the lead for lynch votes?
This was a poorly designed question: context determines everything. In the face of a lack of standouts on both hypothetical wagons, I would vote him. I am certain of my alignment, no one can change my mind about that. Of course, there are outliers (someone I scumread is on my wagon so ask town to push them the next Day when they see I flip town, y'know, other things).

Once we vote, we have to be voting someone
Incorrect. flabort unvoted successfully.

n-word is the same thing as nigger. You make the person think the word.
Dude was that Louis CK or George Carlin who said that, I don't remember. (Alternatively one of them appropriated it from a more prestigious source, idek.)

{Breaking this into two posts because it's getting to the length I would just skim over.}

Dani, same question. Asking questions is pretty much ALL you can do on day 1, and I don't see any actual reasoning in there for why you're voting me, just why people shouldn't vote roo. Interesting.
You wanted reasons? I really want to see the lynch flavor. Also I needed data.
No one is scummy to me right now, not even you. How else am I supposed to find scum or scum-equivalents except by getting reactions? I'm disappointed no one tried to jump on me for shit-voting you; maybe that means I'm too obvious. I'll fix that in the future, probably.

Also, please god use the shift key once in a while. It'll make my head hurt so much less.
Okay. So you're really just that kind of person. I can see where your scumread comes from now, I guess, but I am adamant that right now, it is so very icky.
It's nice that you singled roo out and started some semblance of actual scumhunting (rather than continuously poking at people then jumping on the first townie to say something slightly awkward), but I can see the merit in not cluttering up the thread with even more questions. If you ask me questions, you will get at least a token answer, but I'm not going to go around and smokescreen it up by asking everyone even more questions. Basically, it distracts from what is going on, which I don't like.

-snip-
Okay I skipped over this the first time (yes I tend to just ignore text walls and quote stripes, bite me) but I went over it again and okay you're a cool dude, even if you caused me to repeat someone else's thoughts. Not to say that I'm townreading you, since not-being-scummy =/= being towny. Still null, still not sure what to do.
