EBWOP:

TheDarkStar What is the most important part of a roleflip for you?

The alignment, because it lets me compare what they say and who they vote for with their alignment.

flabort: Are you worried about this vote?

Playergamer: How do you expect this game to go?

Peradon: If you were on a scumteam, which other person in this game would you want on your team?

Probably roo, due to the inability for most people to get a read off him. What about you?

oragamiscienceguy How do you plan on winning the game this time around?
I've only won one game. So I'll do something different.

Everyone: Do you believe this game has a third-party scum group, or is it just Protectors vs Avengers?
If 4mask is as bastardy as he was in Operation Overlord, there will almost certainly be third party.

I'd say DA or DS because I've played at least a few games with each of them.

TheDarkStar Hard to say. I'd put it down to Protector victory, mostly on gut, and I think the protections would be more useful than kills, if they have different roles.

origamiscieneguy Do you, personally, think the protectors are right or the avengers?

I've played to much dwarf fortress to hide and let threats go away. I personally think that the avengers have the right idea.

I have not yet once won as scum, so probably myself.
Other then that, probably roo because I can't understand what he is saying half the time and therefore am so cautious at him.

Flabort: You appear to be asking much more direct, pointed questions, instead of the softer questions many start with. What is your reasoning behind this?
Starting the game with a bang, getting straight to the point, and not wasting my time with the softer questions; also, because I couldn't think of any softer ones.

Double-posting is fine here, ESPECIALLY if it's an EBWOP like you did (Edit by way of post), which is even encouraged (at least compared to the rest of the forum).

Very good answer, by the way. Do you think that it's better to answer with lots of information or a little?

flabort: Are you worried about this vote?
Not too worried, no. Only to the extent that knowing it's an RVS vote and knowing what my own role is brings. Which isn't much worry right now, just a tiny bit that any random vote brings.

So if a player flips something unexpected (So not scum or a classic 3rd party like SK or survivor) and they were on the last three wagons of the previous day, what does it tell you about their votes?

What are you answering here?

That all depends on the what role it is, and its win condition.

I think you should answer with as much information as you have, even if it's a relatively unimportant question. You want people to be able to pick apart what you say.

Deathsword: I doubt there's a true scum here, so which side do you think killed Rhaken?

If I had to guess, I'd say there was two town factions and at least one third party, though since Mask's made it clear that this is a very bastardy game, I doubt it's that simple. I don't see much point in trying to guess the twist on this game though, since even if we get it right we won't know that till the end.

flabort: of course. I just hate going through day one though, it's all opinion based.

please don't mind my relative inactivity, i live on the other side of the world and as i type this, no one is online
@peradon: i have not played a single bastard game, and i have never watched one, is this going to be a problem?
@playergamer: the thought of third parties had not crossed my mind.
@flabort: i wouldn't say i have anything fresh to bring into any sort of forum mafia, since i haven't actually taken a good long look at it.
hi peradon!

re: that flip business: the assumption that everything is going to be revealed with the flip is slightly disappointing.
@mod: what info will be revealed along with the flip? flavor, role name, role function, alignment, wincon, etc.?
@all:
any questions specifically about your role may be asked via pm.
how useful is doing this in a game like this?

and while we're doing faction speculation, i'm thinking there are only two factions, but a bunch of people on either side who all think they killed the dude (win cons would be to survive to game end, survivor). that would be cool. but also not, because merderers.
pedit - ohay deus asmoth is online.
deus: in a game like this where people can't say that someone is 'scum' but rather just one of the two alignments, how do you predict how pushes will work?

There is a saying that existed in the Milky Way galaxy that all is revealed in death, but for Guardians, immortal entities who normally resurrect upon death, they do not truly understand death yet.  Perhaps, given time, they can come to terms with their new mortality, but now is not the time for speculation: now is the time for action.
