So, I've been doing some rebalancing behind the scenes, and it occured to me that nine players would be the optimal number, rather than 11, in terms of game balance.  So I'm only taking three more signups instead of five.

Edit: also, that's the last change I'm making to the game, everything is now set in stone.  There were just a few things I needed to tweak to get the game to work out better.

Just one more...

And jeez if it isn't the new player patrol, six of you joined mafia after I did lolz.  Only TDS and Deathsword have been around longer than me.

Then again, I get the feeling that our playerbase is shifting to the newer players nowadays, what with roo, hector13, origamiscienceguy, Peradon, and Deus Asmoth joining a whole bunch of new games.  And no, roo, i don't mean to insult you by calling you new, I mean new to our style of mafia new.

I'm going to reminisce on some older games here for a bit, people who joined after what I'm talking about can tune me out.  flabort's first game was, if I remember correctly, my first game I ever ran, The Greatest Battle of Orbfalls.  My notes tell me he was the town broker in that game, although I'd have to dredge up ancient documents to figure out what that actually means.  I remember TheDarkStar was part of the first BM I played, and Deathsword I met in the original GBU, where he had the dubious fortune of being the last surviving town against two scum and three third parties, upon which he was summarily lynched.

Edit: And a quick check back through old games informs me that Deathsword was also the scum IC of my first BM.

Were you town or scum there?

Also, I noticed I've been playing (though I did take a break at one point) since 2012. Damn, I feel old now.
