In that case, i'd personally like to propose a 11x(X)mm marksmans/sniper's rifle that is suitable for long to extreme range engagements.

The cartridge is also to be redesigned to use the latest powder whilst also being extended so that the cartridge becomes a 11x80mm cartridge.

The new cartridge will be designed for the marksmans rifle, and will have standard ball, armour piercing and incendiary variants.

I also think the new rifle should be bolt action and be able to be fitted with a telescopic scope, not a fixed magnification scope.

As the old cartridges are black powder, there isn't really much we can used them for. We can, however, reuse the 11mm bullets in a new cartridge, so production should only need to partially retool.

If yes: make new MK1SRs from new stuff, gradually integrate them into the military, starting from an officers weapon and turning into field standard. melt the old guns down and make more MK1SRs with the metal. The stock may be incompatable though.


If no: take half the old rifles, melt the metal down and make new MK1SRs with the metal. Then send the new MK1SRs down the chain of command. Then take the rest of the old rifles, and do the same.

No your not at war right now but there has been reports of a large increase in Callatalenear annual conscription intake.

It's certainly not the right engine for a "heavy infantry" mech then. Instead let's adapt the aircraft engine, the 180hp one.

+1 for the 8mm, 20mm, and 80mm guns, as well as adapting the 37 for mech use.

I'll just adapt any engines or weapons as and when there need.


Put the 500hp engine in the mech, and make necessary adaptions to new powerplant.

Research armor able to deflect small arms fire for the Mech
Armouring the mechs is a simple task, with most of the mechs machinery being resilient to small arms fire, you can focus on protecting the pilots, engines and hydraulic from attack.

Work on the Kahnevich autocannon is rapid and as your subordinates make good progress you adopt a hands off approach.
After 2 mouths of work they have there first prototypes built and ready for testing.

The gun is breach heavy with a large drum magazine holding a total of 60 rounds.


Work on the Benevientiy Mikhailovich 8mm Medium machine gun, is slowed by the need convert from heavy water cooling to light weight air cooled design.
But finally it is ready for testing.

Are you going to mean a very heavy 3-man fighter? because seriously the dipping cannon need its own gunner in order to actually sight it.

The dipping cannon wouldn't need it's own gunner, it would just need another sight for the pilot to use, Think like an early A10. The pilot has level weaponry (not in A10 though, we're talking about the Merperdpee thingy) and another trigger on the stick to control the dipped cannon, which has it's own sight.

How about we start developing variants of heavy, medium and light tanks. Maybe we could create a super tank and some heavy artillery as well, I'll elaborate more later, I have to go atm.

yeah, seems good. I'll design the heavy and mediums.

what kinds of tank guns do we have? Howitzers can be turned into tank guns
Idea for names
Light tank=Hawk-class (speed)
Medium tank=Eagle-class (balance)
Heavy tank=Dragon-class (Firepower)

Meh, I don't like the naming scheme, to be honest. We are in a Socialist/Communist country, that sounds like it is from Eastern Europe. The fact we use Polish Tanks is also a giveaway.

Just a heads up, we dont have rockets, a 26mm cannon, a 40mm cannon nor a 200mm cannon.

What are we designing tanks for when we have mechs? I take it as a challenge to use it as our primary armor.

Mechs dont make good replacements for traditional armoured forces. They are armoured infantry, essentially.

I'd say design and use mechs and tanks next to each other.

I know this, I am saying we should research it by designing a system on which it could be mounted and then making armaments to suit. Whatever you say about mechs, they are going to be incredibly slow for a long, long time. If you leave mechs as infantry support vehicles, and design armour as fast, tip of the spear units, designed to give the infantry and mefchs an easier time, it would be better.
