*sigh* "Look. Gwolf, you want the box. Net, you want to know what's in the box. That's what I'm hearing, right?"

"I want to know what's in the box, and if it's dangerous, to keep it out of the fort or out of the hands of crazy people."

[Gwolfski]

" I can't even open it!!! Calm down! You have been sober for way too long! Behave like a goddamn dwarf, for dwarves sake! I will buy the-  Yes, I do want the box, and he doesn't want me to have it, 'cause he ain't knowing about what's inside."

"Alright. Let's solve this semi-logically. I say, we buy the box, and have someone take it as far away as thay can in say...a month. Then, we have them open it. If the come back, we atleast know something terrible hasn't happened. If they come back with a magical collapsing sword of awesomeness and fire, then we know what's in the box. That sound fair?"

[Gwolfski]

" Yes, but I own the box and it's contents. If it is a mind-fucking whirlwind magic storm, my problem. If it is an awesome cool sword, my prize."

"To be fair, both of you have reasonable points. Hows about we purchase the box as a collective, but we store it somewhere safe until Net or some other mage works up the balls to open it, see the contents, then we can go from there. But Gwolf, of you selfishly keep the box, everyones gonna hate you, AND the soldiers might kick you out, but Net, if you prevent someone from buying something without authority, you're pretty much being a douche."

*The sudden wave of rationality passes, and Porkins looks around, mildly confused*

"Wait, What?"

((Also, i think we should make it so that NOONE can control the soldiers. Im getting sick of people assuming that the soldiers will do whatever they want))

Hey guys, I'm back!  What in all flavor of damnation has happened in my absence?

"Hold on, what was that? There was a pulse...anyone else feel that?"

"I WANT THE BOX!!!!!!!!  I will share knowledge of the contents of the box, though."

I then wander off to figure out what that pulse was.

"All right, but first, the caravan tells us what they know of it.  Also, the bookkeeper, whomever it is, actually does the purchasing."

A grizzled dwarf clad in tarnished copper armor is walking the halls of the fortress, observing some areas with definite interest and passing over others without a second glance.  chaotic skies's dwarf will probably find him relatively close to the site of the magical pulse.
