Bad Rats: THIS IS NOT A GAME. HOW DARE YOU SHADOWLORD?

I think the picture I posted speaks for itself. That ball is hurtling through the air, about to strike the big red button which will start the microwave with the cat inside, with fatal results. To get to that level, you have to first complete two other levels: one which requires you to kill a cat by dropping a safe on it, and one which requires you to kill a cat by exploding it with a bomb. There are over 40 more levels, going by the Let's Plays I see in my search results.

You wanted a game in which you're the bad guy? Bad Rats requires you to be that Bad Guy, to gruesomely murder poorly rendered innocent cats over and over, without any kind of reason.

It also allows you to deploy suicide bomber rats. I would not be surprised if there were levels that demand that you use them.

P.S. Yes, it is a terrible game.

The Escapists has you playing as an inmate trying to break out of jail.
Not sure if you'd call that "evil", but you certainly aren't the good guy.

You can be evil in Spore. It's really tough to ally with the Grox, but it's possible to do so, and be evil, fighting the rest of the galaxy.

Never played the Escapists but if the Guards could adequately be described as "good guys" I'd say that counts.

The different paradigms of spore make it hard to pin down a single good guy in Spore but between the fun lovers, the merchants, and the scientists I'd say there's enough to make you the villain if you side with the Grox

Well, they aren't bad, that's for sure. It's just people trying to do their job of keeping convicts locked up, so I'd call them "good" in that regard.

But not every Nazi knew or even supported everything the group was doing. I'm not saying some of them weren't horrible. I'm just saying not everyone fighting on the wrong side of a war is evil.

Do games count if you have a choice between good and evil?

Gal Civ II had a race that was by default evil, even before you actually research the tech that allows you to declare yourself as good or evil.

Sure yeah maybe the protagonist hugs puppies off camera.  But the only information we have about the morality of the dude is that he is a literal Nazi.

The OP was about fighting for the bad guys to win.  The "victory" ending where you invaded America and secure Nazi domination over the entire world is clearly a worse result then the "defeat" ending where Germany loses as historically (or loses ahistorically).

Yes, as long as you have the power to be evil and fight against GOOD guys it makes the list. If the evil choice is just fighting the bad guys for bad reasons it's not a bad guy game.

There are many SS13 games where you end up being morally dubious at best, and a down right scum bag at worst.

Force Unleashed 1, for the most part.

Prototype (in that you're the bad thing fighting the bad government.)
