One of the characters I named Ketari previously was a sorta-mad goddess also called the Eater of Birds. So Kawtari being an actual bird is amusing enough to me not to pass up. And so she's a female, just like her forebears.

I decided to save the Warforged Paladin concept for a time when I had better of idea of what kind of situation we'll be in.

For now, meet Tadhg Maeloc, barbarian. Spawn of pirates, smugglers, and reavers, for generation upon generation. He's not too bad himself, though.

edit: not finished yet, of course.

Okay, added about a thousand words worth of OOC and unbiased backstory to my sheet.

Aldeth needs a bit more shining and buffing.
Of course. I'm not even close to being done.

Right, I got two essays to write. One for school and one for Dwarmin. :P When are you going to be judging them?

I've put off really going into them until I'm sure everyone has had a fair chance to finish their sheets, tho some seem finished already. But, I should be able to read them all by noon.

And I don't need an essay, I just need players who seem interesting-they won't follow around the party not saying anything or interacting with anyone.

@Flying dice: Also, I really like what did with your trinket-I did the same thing for my character in Sandiron, building up some interesting backstory from a single, seemingly innocuous item.

Yeah, that trinket table is a really nice tool for building backstory. That arrow actually came up on my second roll on the table (the first was... some random bit of shit).

1k words is nothing though, that's a lazy snippet of a chapter section.  :P

But yes, she comes from a family of Elves Who Don't Do Anything.

Yeah, my character in sandiron rolled the mysterious empty bottle, I made him an Oenophile. :P

I'll add to the OP that everyone can roll a trinket...

Well, you saying that made me check out if there were any trinket generators...

And now I have something new to add to my sheet.

Made some changes/corrections to Lizardfolk maul ability based on discussion with Gilg, edited OP.

Still sad no one played a Grippli. :P

I was going to deny that my character was inspired by River Tam, but I couldn't find any good image other than her, so I wont.

Spoiler: Sarco Backstory (click to show/hide)

I left the part of my backstory where we hook up into a team up in the air, unless anyone had any particular ideas, would it be appropriate to write that after the players are picked?

Probably best to hold off until the party is confirmed. I did the same -- it's pretty vague what Samara's been doing lately, so the initial meetup is easy to set up from that angle.

I was going to deny that my character was inspired by River Tam, but I couldn't find any good image other than her, so I wont.
Heh, that's the thing though, ain't it? Sometimes it feels easier to just pick an image you like and build a character around it.
