The max for starting seems to be 15 (before Racial adjustments) and the increases to stats you get every few levels can't bring your stats above 20 (except in some cases like a barbarian) with 30 being the absolute max (although there isn't a way to achieve that as far as I can see, maybe magical items and such.)

20 is 3.5 and PF.

18 is the max starting in 3.5

Huh, okay! They changed that-27 pt buy, 15 limit. Adding it to OP.

Yeah, you can bring your stats up to 20 naturally-anything further than that is magically enhanced.

The starting gear for a warlock includes the option for either a crossbow or a simple weapon, on top of another simple weapon already granted. Can I swap out the crossbow/simple weapon for something else, like a tool kit?

I'll be picking up the Mystic Tools. I can't actually use a weapon because I'm casting Eldritch Blast at a +5, 1d10+3, so anything other that and maybe a knife is just going to be worthless.

Odd. The point buy I used let me go up to 18. Obviously I'll have to adjust my character sheet a tad. And then finish it.

Gassan the Deathseer

A strongjaw lizardfolk shaman of the Rotroot Tribe, Gassan is a newly anointed cleric of Mas'duth, God of the Swamp Way. Joining the adventuring group after they stumbled upon his tribe during a foray into his swamp lands, he believed it to be an omen and a call for him to venture out into the world. Functioning both as medicant for both health and enemies, Gassan is renowned for his strong arm and desire to return to his people bearing artifacts of other distant lizardfolk tribes.

Nice, nice..I'll say I'll try and make my choices when we have enough full sheets up. Still really waiting to see what scriver and cript come up with.

I might end up just taking 6 players, anyway. I don't see any sheets I really wanna turn down, tho Kawtari and Aldeth need a bit more shining and buffing.

Well, kawtari is no where near even done.
I'd feel impure if I submitted a character without even a backstory to their name.
