That's probably the longest backstory I've written for an FGRP.

Unfortunately I'm probably not going to have time to finish the background stuffs today.

And thus, my choices.

IN
Samara Oestel, High Elf Wizard (Flying Dice)
Akira, Kenku Rogue (kj1225)
Kawtari, Kenku Fighter (GiglameshDespair)
Aldeth, Human Warlock (My Name is Immaterial)
Sarco Idous, Strongjaw Lizardfolk Fighter (Cript)
Tadhg Maeloc, Coastal dwelling Human Barbarian(Scriver)

I didn't really want to leave anyone out, but the two least completed sheets RP wise, were Rex and Scriver. Instead of dropping you both to make five, I just chose one more or less on pity. Most of the other sheets were really, amazingly well done, all fully deserving of having earned their spots. I also really want to see the 5e barbarian in action, so thank that for tipping the balance just the right amount. :P

No hard feelings Rex. Insofar as there will be a waiting list, you will be first on it.

I'll toss up the first post as soon as it's ready.

Ah, there should be your pertinent info, in neat spoiler form.

If I DID miss something, point it out. Check the OP first, tho-some of you guys didn't see I specified to max HP for level 2.

Note, experience is party based, not solo.

Also, you guys all get free inspiration points to start for doing so good on your sheets. Really impressed. :)

Hm, You seem to be trying to note something about Tadhg. Is it his lack backstory?

By the by folks, if you're also a tad OCD and need your overland movement speeds, they're 3mph/24mpd for 30', and 2.5mph/20mpd for 25'.

You know, the really bizarre thing is that with the way attack bonus works in 5e, my wizard and MNiI's warlock have the same AB with their daggers as the martial types do with their stuff. I certainly love the new carry capacity rule, since someone slightly weaker than average can now carry a backpack with supplies inside without crippling themself.

E: Last minute swap from Transmutation to Divination. The rules are still in my sheet. Copied it over here as well because of a question:

Quote
Portent: At the end of a long rest (4h trance), roll two d20s, record the rolls. These rolls can be used to replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by the player or by a creature they can see. The replacement must be chosen before the roll is made, and can only be done once per turn. Each roll can be used only once, and is lost upon finishing a long rest (aka no rollovers).
Though due to the PBP format, would you be willing to allow them to be used more freely than just before a roll is made, since having the DM roll everything means there's no gap between "Okay, roll that for me," and the players rolling (or vice versa) to interject into?

How perceptive. :P

It's all about the new system for 5th, called 'Bounded Accuracy'. I can't explain it much, still trying to understand it. :p

...

Anyway, first post is up. Threw you all into the mess a bit, hope I'm not going too fast.

Yeah, but the ability to replace a couple rolls per day makes for a better story than "Lol I'mma make another cubic foot of gold today guys."  :P

Sure, I'm up for it.

You know, since my character really has no place as an adventurer otherwise given her disposition.

But yeah, again:

I can't reach through my monitor to pull an objection.

Or could just limit it to my own rolls and the defending rolls of my targets. That works as well. Though I'd really like to be able to save allies with them.
