That does bring up an interesting balance issue, for a 3 sp difference (miniscule when we have between 200 and 300 mana), a ma- spell user deals significantly more damage than someone using a 1 hit attack.

Obviously. That is why it is logical to choose multi-attacks. I think if it worked in a game series, it should probably work here.

Hm, true. It's only true for the first tier of each elemental spell, though. The next two tiers won't be so forgiving in SP use.

So they'll likely lose utility later is what you're saying.  I'm guessing that that is going to be heavily affected by the group with the higher initiative?

Loot won't be divided just yet- you don't yet have a use for the loot and you'll probably only be wanting to use any actual equips like weapons, armor and accessories. Or items.

So the trade off is, those people are less likely to use up one of their 'lives' but the team as a whole gets weaker?

Not on every floor, but yes, those people don't lose lives but you're more at the mercy of Shadows. And no, you can't, Shadows can't use those things anyway.

And of course, you'd be leading one straight into the wounded, a non-Persona user and someone who can't fight.
