This can either go horribly or kinda okay.

My vote is horrible.

I am glad they are still trying to make movies based on Videogames...

But shouldn't they start with the games that lend themselves to movies first?

What could possibly lend itself better to a Hollywood movie than a game that's all action and no story? :P

Haven't those movies died out of popularity?

Welp, the G-rank version has been announced.

I wasn't expecting them to treat the Western market like the JP market as I didn't think they'd bother to localize the game twice but hey... what do I know. But they did include a way to transfer saves this time.

I'm probably going to skip this one, considering I haven't even gotten far in Generations. I wanna see if they'll make a game for Nintendo's next console. I'm sick of playing on handheld.

I haven't been keeping up closely with the news, but there's going to be one on the Switch, if that counts. I thought this one was supposed to be that Switch game.

In any case we aren't going to see this for like, a year at least. So you still have a long time to squeeze all the fun out of Gen.

"Double Cross" is better than "Cross 2", I guess.

The name is a bit ironic too.

The Monster Hunter Doublecross.

Yep, and here we all are, throwing money at them over and over. :P

Check out that deviant-looking Diablos. What could they possibly give that Diablos that would make it worse than a normal one? Sonic/flash immunity like Dreadking? Blast? I don't remember anything beyond the usual charges and smashes from the trailer.

Yeah, I'm a little bit salty that they're now handing western players two separate games (the second of which is basically just a sizable update to the first), but this is what comes with the games getting more popular over here, I guess.

I'm also a little worried, because they seem to be going really nuts with making MH flashier and flashier. I mean... a style that lets you charge up a meter and then basically go super-saiyan? They'd better as heck make the other pre-existing styles worth using to match the coolness of this new one.

I'm really on the fence about this one myself. They'll have to really make it worth the additional ~$45. Knowing them, they definitely will continue dripfeeding us cooler and cooler information and my mind will be made up by the time it comes out, but for now? It's not more than 60-40.

An interesting theory I heard is that they're in the middle of making MH5 and they realized it's taking longer than they expected, so they decided to make this game to stall us while they continue working on 5.
