Umm, no. "I wish I had" is as grammatically correct as "I wish to have." You can't corrupt based on that, use the actual content of the wish or find an actual grammar mistake. It's like saying "I heard it as 'I fish,' so you're a fisherman now."

"I wish I had" can be taken to refer to possession in the past, as in "I had a dog named Zephaniah. I no longer have him."

There's a difference between "I wish I had" and "I had." Not only is corrupting based on that grammatically incorrect, it ignores the content of the wish and thus has nothing to do with it.
