Though it tis a little bit silly that rolling on the floor can split the body in gore and be deflected by a robe.

Armor can deflect gravity. I think there's deeper-rooted physics issues than just dying from skidding.

They can do whatever the heck they want. That's why they are nobles, cause they CAN.
King Henry the IV or something had a lot of wives, most of whom he executed. Because he could.
A ton of them mass-murdered Jews and Muslims. CAUSE THEY COULD.
A roman emperor made his horse a noble, cause he could.
And I modded them all out of existence, because I could.

In my opinion, there should be at least a summary of the buttons to press, I  am having a hard time figuring out how to grab while in mid air for dragonfall and re-reading grab them while flying past them is no help, but knowing that I have to hit sf723o to enable tick based jumping would be very helpful,in character descriptions are great for remembering the basics of what you have to do, but if they do not click with you, they are not helpful.
That's dependent on keybindings. The default key can be indicated, but it's important to list the action in case it's been set to something else.

Yeah, telling someone "hit numpad 5 three times, then b, then num ., num 0, num 5, num 5" doesn't help much.

That sounds unhelpful in general, unless Construction Combat is now a thing. o3o

We had obsidian casting. It was inevitable.

You hit b to wrestle instead of attack or dodge/parry.

If anyone here is interested I just made Kisat Dur for the role playing pen&paper game gurps. I've heard that there's alot of overlapping in the fan base between gurps and DF. It's right here: http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?p=2024919#post2024919

Kisat Dur Irol Vîr (Empty Fist of the North Star)

Engraved on this wall is a poorly designed image of a dwarf Urist McKenshiro and an elf. Urist McKenshiro is performing Kisat Dur Ostlurit on the elf. The elf is hurting. It relates to paralyzation of the elf Fag Fancypants the Tree Hugger.

Exquisite  :D

Somebody needs to make a fort made entirely of martial artists, I'm sure that's been attempted in community and succession games previous, but there hasn't been a Hall of Legends worthy fort filled with masters of pugilism, wrestling, dodging, plying their trade on hapless siegers and wildlife.

Scratching in dwarf fortress: https://youtu.be/7Vn8bh7t_EQ?t=36

As for the marital arts fort: would it be possible to migrate retire as many martial masters adventures as possible into the fortress?

That's basically what every Dragon Ball Saiyan fort is.

The only problem with doing a Kisat Dur fortress is that the AI can't competently handle the wrestlemania fundamentals, let along the exploity lunacy we've unlocked here. o3o
