Hello and welcome to another round of: GUESS THAT STAT!

Anyhow 3...

I am guessing Empathy.
Right on the nose with that one. Apparently the smell of french fries is oddly comforting.

Uhhh, clearly you haven't played the game enough

Because French Fries are so comforting it even affects our robot's programming.

You're more environmentally and socially conscious than most inventors, ready to sacrifice some elegance in the name of saving the planet. You have your buckets full of leftover grease from nearby fast food restaurants all ready to go. People near Joyeuse will find its smell of McDonald's French fries strangely comforting. (++Empathy)

You'll need a lot of motors to be able to power your full robot—in addition to the motors it needs when it rolls and the motors to power its multitool hands, it also needs motors for moving its head and eyes. But after speccing out the power available to you, you can still splurge by adding extra motors in one place. What will it be?

1) Extra degrees of freedom in the face for realistic facial expressions.
2) In Joyeuse's multitool hands for fine manipulation.
3) I would prefer to save the power for Joyeuse's mind.

Part of me kind of wishes SOME of these choices weren't raw stats but actually affected the robot... like... inherently.

1. Voted in order to have a Johnny-5/WALL-E face with realistic facial expressions.
...
However that is supposed to work.

3; We've got plenty of Empathy by this point, let's make our Robot smart.

My guess?

Empathy MAYBE with grace... but I have a feeling 2 was grace... and 3 was autonomy.

The idea that we're making WALL-E actually makes a fair bit of sense at this point.

You decide not to add any more motors to Joyeuse. The extra power could be used to overclock Joyeuse's multicore CPUs instead. (+++Autonomy) You suppose you could call Joyeuse…"hotheaded." (Sorry.)

You hold down the power on Joyeuse's back and it boots to life again.

"Good morning," you tell Joyeuse.

"Good morning," Joyeuse says, imitating you.

Having completed Joyeuse's initial test run, what will you do now? Now would be a good time to show Joyeuse to Josh, to see whether he's interested in funding its further development.

1) I should show the robot to Josh.
2) I should fix the little things I noticed during the test before I forget.
3) I should probably get a new phone in case Mom wants to call tonight.

2. There's no "write it down and do it later" option, so we're guaranteed to forget if we don't do it now.
