+1 but stay near the other Grey hoods.

.... You've doomed us all. Granted. Everyone except for traps are executed. Random sci-fi nonsense is required to be taught in schools.
A cute intersex harem with everyone in love with the androgynous king and smart and useful enough into pushing the kingdom forward.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

'Play it cool' you think and decide to walk over to the group of Grey hoods that you assume to be part of your class.

((You roll a two out of 10.))

You don't know why but the group of Grey hoods just ignores you after one member decides to scoff at your presence. You feel hurt that your colleagues feel you to be so later. An announcement from echoes through the room to begin lining up for the arrival of the Dean. You figure you still have time and it would be nice to chat with someone...or show them why your here.

Now remember, it's your first day of training, so listen to your teacher and no fighting, play nice with the other kids, unless, of course, one of the other kids wants to fight, then you have to kick the other kid's butt.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((3/10 the dice gods have not received your daily sacrifices of goat good enough. Now SUFFER!))

All of the Grey hoods are in a tight knit circle around each other and don't seem welcoming at all. You are however fortunate to find two students one a grey hood like yourself and another wearing black meaning a experienced student at the academy. You decide why not spend a bit of time getting to know these two after all everyone else seems to not appreciate your (magnificent) presence.

((5/10 I smoothed it over some with the dice gods. You can thank me later))

"Hello, I'm Fal Zanti"

They both look at you in a shocked manner before the grey hood says something in a boyish voice.

"Nice to meet you I'm Oscar" and the other just  says "Juice".

You get to know each other and Juice tells you about the academy and its obsession with training people in extreme measures to see advancements in their prestige. Apparently there are year around tournaments where the academies will duel each other in the capital in themes tourneys like  Rookies, Journey starters, and even and all out rumble. Individuals win renown and the academy whose pupils do good in receive bonus grants from the King himself. He shares a rumor that the Dean is desperate after last years sweeping to turn receive extra funding this year for a secret project shes hinted at in some speeches. Those are rumors though no one knows the true story.

The Grey Hood tells you that he's been training hard for the rookies tourney and that has been training 2 years before joining the academy. You can just feel how ecstatic he is about participating but his brother seems very put off by it.

Before you can converse a few red hoods yell to prepare for the ceremony and a bell tolls while eerie music plays off somewhere far into the room.

In a distance you see a woman with a White and Red robe come forth from the dark entrance of a porch high in the distance. She seems to be old looking with gray darkish gray hair but youthful at the same time with her strong purposeful movement. The music tha plays her in continues for longer but ends when she puts her right hand up to signal the stop of the music. Eerie seconds turn to eerie hours for you as you feel anticipation come from your stomach to your eyes just waiting for your Master to begin.

"Students and Professors of Zaku it is so good to see you all here again." She says with an insane looking smile and cheery voice that motivates you and creeps you out at the same time. Even your new Dark Hooded Friend Juice seems to share your chilly creepy assumptions.

She begins again this time her face looking much more serious than before and her tone that of a classic motivator.

"As every year I will be known as Dean or Mistress Dean. Any other titles directed at me or indirectly will find you my annoyance. Anyone here understand who does not understand proper titles will be punished. Anyone here who does not grow will be punished. Anyone here afraid to become something more than what Society or the Church says you should be will be punished.

This School was created in honor of a man who fought for our freedom to study magic. To use magic. To control magic. He never turned ran away from those who dared challenge him nor did he tolerate attacks from the Crusaders or Imperials who wanted to destroy our kind of people. Everyone here will first and foremost learn to be a leader of your own ambition and soul. No amount of magic or money can make you the person you want to be, that you must do for yourself.

Yes there are enemeis in your path inside the school and outside but the fact is that if you want to be a graduate of this school and live happily...Than you have to destory those who are in your way. This is the year i plan to show Atalia why Zaku should be respected and feared. Unlike previous years, this year will focus on competing in the Grand Tournaments 6 months from now and research into new feilds of magic. All able bodies mages are encouraged to take up extra-educational tasks in this field."

Shes stops to take a breath. An then another while looking around at the room. You can even feel that she looks at you right in your eyes.

"Mages of Zaku Prepare for Masters Call."

Soon Red Hooded mages begin calling out names for Black Hooded mages and then to your colleagues. It's a painful reminder of the caste system here in the academy, one where you are never to speak to a professor out of class your father instructed you. Thoughts of home come in as your father talks to you on your bedside "Make friends with your kind and respect all your elders. Even if you don't like them that is the Zaku way. If you groing to study at daddies school your going to need to be perfect.".

You wonder if you can live up to your fathers expectations.

You are grouped with 20 other Gray hoods and 4 Black hoods who divide you with 4 Black hoods. You are forced to walk with your group through tunnels decorated with paintings of old magicians and busts of Zalqui and his Generals. You finally arrive at your dorms where rooms for 5 beds are situated and your luggage sitting on top of your bed. You are instructed to stay in the dorms area and not leave anywhere until your first classes tomorrow where you told to expect a escort.

As you begin unpacking you wonder what to do right now? Your roommates are 4 other girls who seem to keep to themselves, should you change that?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((9/10. I'm not even fudging it or anything, your sacrifices must have pleased them  :o))

You briefly unpack some small necessities before deciding to just go ahead and socialize with your roommates who, unlike some people, are much more talkative. The drab room of 5 soon becomes a chat room where each of your roommates introduces herself.

Ana goes first and goes at length about her interest in using her water gift to blood bend explaining a complex theory where she can clean blood by forcing bad stuff out through your pores. A bit shocked by the announcement of having someone playing with your blood scares you but you can't help but feel interested in the young girl.

Next is Delly or as her nick names goes Didi. Didi has an Air Attunement and a fascination with dragons sharing that her people are said to once have lived with them. She plans on making a pact with one and serve in the Military as a Dragon Knight. You don't know much about Dragon Knights except that they tend to have god complexes and are notably cruel towards the old Imperial invaders. She goes on to say that after her family defected to become Imperial citizens and left her. She has been raised by the church which to your knowledge constantly villainies magicians of both schools.

Before she can go into much more detail Jillian interrupts her and beings to spew quite a tail about her life. According to her, She has a earth attunement and is the third child of Baron Van Braun the Eastern warlord who is famous for being the current head of the Black Rangers. She says that her education here at the academy she'll join the Rangers and one day lead the nation against the subtle enemies of the King. You have personnel doubts seeing as someone as open as her could ever be part of such a clandestine organization but then again family connections can go a long way.

Finally there is Ariel who like you has a fire attunement and is by far the most controversial of the group. Not only is she next in line to rule the Automatic republic of Bratz but she transferred schools from Rodaz, the rival academy, to here. Her rationale being that diversity is key and hints that she will be jockeying for the position of the Kings Chief Magical Adviser. In it's brief existence the position has never been held by a student of Zaku or a woman. You believe that she knows this but it's apparent that her willpower is going to push her very far.

After introducing yourself and further chit chat about life at home your group prepares for dinner to be delivered.

An it is. To your surprise a servant who introduces herself as Emanuel brings you bread, butter, and tea. Didi the , "Dragon Knight" as she's being called by Jillian, complains of a lack of meat and other variety.

You are instructed to prepare for class tomorrow and have all materials and clothing ready in the morning. As well as going to bed early but knowing that your new friends wouldn't mind another chat about something specific you contemplate procrastinating class.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((EDIT: Forgot to put that Jill has an earth attunement. Sorry))
