But this can only be done after the capsules were either disassembled or otherwise stored away."

Richard Hanks, Farmers Representative
"Nice day, isn't it? "

Forest Miller, Workers Representative
"We need to check the storage systems and, if needed, take count of things ourselves."

I say, as soon as the capsules are done being inspected, we tear down the majority, leaving up only those that the Doctors feel are necessary. 75% of what is torn down should be broken down into spare parts, while the rest should be stored away as whole as possible, for rapid replacement in emergency situations. from there, we should get some of the workers on quickly separating the rotten food stuffs from the good.
Priority should go to getting the science lab up and running, though. We need to research what is left of the mutated Deer. its obviously affected by the virus, but. . . . we should find out if eating it will be dangerous to us. Or if using it as fertilizer will be just as bad. That little bit of knowledge might serve as a diving board for future issues. . . . .

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

+1 Also, if they're fusion reactors, make sure there isn't a danger of one of them exploding. Last thing we need is a fire rushing through the complex.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Uhm, fusion reactors don't explode. They physically can't.

(Well, unless the coollant is volatile, or something like that.)

Well, if containment fails, you could have a jet of superheated plasma rupturing the reactor and cooking everything in the facility due to superheated air, but that's not the same as an explosion

Uhm no.

The amount of plasma in the reactor at any given time is less than a tenth of a gram. The plasma hitting the wall wouldn't even measurably heat it, led alone rupture it and damage the rest of the facility.

It's probably even less here, considering we have 8 reactors, with diesel as back-up. So that either implies the fusion reactors being tiny, or the diesel plants having a few lakes worth of fuel reserves.

Working fusion reactors were quite new when the asteroid landed.
They are not as efficient as one would think when thinking about fusion reactors :)

Due to the unknown amount of time the bunker would stay in sleep mode,
a large amount of work was spent to make the reactors safe in cases of overheating or other emergencies.

Forgot to add the two new tasks in turn 5... fixed that now.
I also put more information into the colony overview. I will fill it more and give it a good structure over time.

The date is wrong. It should be the 2171 - not 2071. Invoke Khorne to help fight the mutant deer, because why not? Heck, with nearly a century of mutations there might actually be a god. :P

Let's just hope the battle goes well.

Try to be as stealthy as possible, and put a few shots into it's head before it realizes we're here.

The battle has already started and the deer is in open battle with our troops, so stealth isn't an option. Considering that the only exit out of the bunker was the entrance and the deer was trying to break through the entrance, it's likely that stealth never was an option.
