pisskop Human Reporter Follow ToonyMan Dies
You decide to follow ToonyMan tonight to see what he's up to.
After donning some heavy winter gear you trek off into the snow and over to his place. The lights are on, but from where you are you can't quite see if he's home or not. You start to circle around the house when you catch a glimpse of movement hear a window. You have only a moment to register the slightly open window when a crack spits the night. You stagger, and then register the feeling of an impact along your side.
A hand grabs you, pulling you down. A voice whispers. “Quick, crawl this way.”
You head through the underbrush and out into the open. The person, whoever they are, is gone. Checking yourself, you find that your coat is ripped. No injury, though. Looks like you got off lucky!

zombie urist Human Psychic Warden Block Scripten Blocks
You sit in your cabin, a fire crackling in the fireplace and an empty mug of hot cider beside you. It is time to perform the ritual. You pull out the tall white candle and the bronze chain that you use for the binding and you begin the chant.
The words tumble down off of your lips, the energy contained in them being drawn to the chain wrapped around your fingers. The candle's flame grows in your view, until all you can see is the light of the fire. Your mind begins to lift from this plane as the words continue to flow from you. You cast your mind out, seeking out Scripten. You find his spirit in the ether and cast the glowing chains around him. He struggles, but it is useless. The chains drain the energy from him and you can see his spirit fade as he lapses into unconsciousness. He shall do nothing this night.
You return to yourself, extinguish the candle, and place the chain carefully back into its bag. You will need it again soon enough.

You head off to go make sure that nothing untoward happens to pisskop...this night, at least. His time will come soon enough.
You find a nice sheltered spot to watch over him and soon he heads off into the night. You follow behind, and watch as he goes near one of the cabins. There is movement in the window...a gun! You rush forward and manage to shove him just the gun fires. He staggers a bit and you grab him by the arm, pulling him to the ground.
“Quick, crawl this way.” you head off through some underbrush. He follows, clearly more afraid of whoever that was than you.
You lead him to a clear area and then melt back into the bushes. He seems a bit confused as to where you’ve gone, but eventually heads home. Nothing else attacks him that night, to your relief.

Jim Groovester Human Reporter Follow Mastahcheese Goes to Toonyman
You layer on some warm clothes for an extended night out in the cold and sneak off towards Mastahcheese's house so you can follow him if he goes anywhere.
And goes somewhere he does. Not long after you reach his house you spot him carefully heading of his house. He checks around to see if anyone is watching, but can't see you hiding in the thick trees. You make sure to follow at as far a distance as you can manage, and eventually track him over to ToonyMan's house.
You can't see what happens inside, but from the repeated gunfire and shouts something nasty is going on. You decide to high tail it out of there when a stray bullet slams into the tree trunk right near your head. Looks like you'll have to check later to see what came of all of that.

Scripten Human War Vet Blocked
You sit in your cabin, a hunting rifle on your knees, just waiting for the monsters to come. They will...you know it. Maybe not tonight, but they'll come. And then they'll find out that not everyone is afraid of monsters.
But then you feel a strange sensation. A tight feeling, like a giant chain being wrapped around you. Alarmed, you pick up your gun and look around. The feeling gets stronger, and when you try to get up you feel the binding tighten further. Your arms are pulled in and the gun crushed useless against your chest. You try to walk, but your legs are bound as well and you topple back into the chain. Struggling with all your might you try to break free, but the binding only tightens further. Your mind begins to grow fuzzy, and a wave of tiredness washes over you. A trick! This must be how the monsters get you! You must...stay...awake. But no matter how hard you try you can feel your brain shutting down. Soon you slip into a dreamless slumber.
You awaken the next morning, somewhat to your surprise. A bit stiff from sleeping in your chair, but no one seems to have disturbed you during the night. You stumble off to make some coffee before the day's meeting begins.

You get up in the morning and check the readouts of your tracking devices. Seems like UXLZ and notquitethere both stayed home the night before. Not the most exciting data, but data nonetheless.

Tiruin Human Telepath Inspect Toaster Survive
You nestle yourself into the window seat of the cabin, a blanket drawn up around your legs and a hot cup of tea in your hands. You sit for a bit, centering yourself. The heat from the tea spreads through you. The scent of candles wafts by, and you focus on that for a bit. Faint music plays in the background, and you let your spirit rise up with it and slowly drift with it out of your body. Your mind ascends to the ether, where you can see the sparks of the others in the valley glowing around you.
You set your eyes on Toaster's spark and glide towards it. Drawing close, you dip into the light and read his surface emotions.
Survival seems to be his only goal for the night. Satisfied, you leave and return to your own body.
You sip your tea and look out on the moonlight reflecting off of the frozen lake. Such a pretty place, this valley. Such a pity that violence and horror has come to spoil it.

ToonyMan Human War Vet Kills, Dies
Night falls early in winter. Which means the monsters will be out early. You clutch your hunting rifle a little too hard, but with your pulse racing as you look out into the night you barely notice. They're going to be out there. You have to be ready.
There! A shadow moving in the trees! You swing to the side of the window and carefully slide it open just a little bit. Just enough to take aim without exposing yourself too much. You line up the shot as quickly as possible and fire. The figure staggers and lurches off into the night. You're pretty sure it collapses after a bit, but in the gloom it is hard to be sure.
Are there more? Do they attack as a pack?
You don't know. Can't get careless. Can't let down your guard.
A sharp crack from the back door! They're breaking in! They must have hoped the other would keep you occupied!
You make a quick dash behind the couch and set up just as a figure moves up through the kitchen. It's no monster, that you can see, but a man with a gun. Too bundled up to see who it is, and that rifle isn't pointed your way for show. You duck down as a shot shatters the window behind you. You return fire, the bullet sending a spray of plaster into the air as it hits the wall near where he's standing. He ducks back out of the way, shielding his eyes, and you scoot to the other side of the couch. This thing isn't going to do anything to stop bullets, so you have to hope he shoots where you aren't.
Another bullet, this one ripping through the couch. It misses you by inches. You pop up and fire back. You hear cursing. Sounds like you got him! Another bullet through the couch, this one further away. You pop back up, but can't see him. Maybe he retreated? Cautiously you swing around the side of the couch, rifle out and ready to fire.
Sounds from the kitchen. You move in, ready to fire. There, slumped in a chair! But he's quicker, and the shot slams into your hip. You stagger backwards are fire, your aim staying true. The shot slams into his chest and he coughs. He tries to raise his gun again but you stagger forward a step are shoot again. The gun clatters to the ground.
Wincing in pain you grab at your hip and take a step towards the table. You'll need the medkit for this.
Movement at the door. No time for pain! You take a painful kneel and fire as a monster rushes through the door at you. Your shot slams it in the chest, but the eyeless monstrosity bears down on you anyway. Before you can get off as second shot it knocks the rifle from your hands and rips into you with taloned hands. Again and again you feel the hot pain as they slash into you. You sink to the floor, unable to do more than feebly try to protect yourself.
You're loosing blood. Losing this battle.
But it is dying too. Dark magenta blood stains its clothing. And the attacks begin to falter.
The last thing you see before the world turns dark is the creature sinking down beside you, a clawed hand clutching at its chest.
At least you got the bastard too.

flabort Human Vigilante Kill Toonyman Kills? Dies
You bundle up and grab your gun as night falls, and head off to kill Toonyman. He's probably one of those damn dopps, right? Suspicious bastard, at least. Best to make sure.
As you approach his house you hear gunfire. Not at you, though, it's off to the right. Best make this quick.
You kick in the door and move inside, rifle out and ready to fire. There! Going behind the couch! Your shot goes high though, and just shatters a window.
He pops up and fires right back! You shield your eyes from a spray of plaster as the bullet rips through the wall. Damn monster has a gun!
You fire back at the couch. No sign of him, so you have to hope you hit.
He returns fire again as you try to duck back and you feel a sharp pain in your leg! Damn it!
With your leg buckling you quickly move backwards and sink into a chair. That leg won't hold your weight, so you're going to have to make the next bullet count.
Tense moments of waiting as he realizes you're no longer in sight. You can hear him moving in there. Just...just have to get him before he gets you.
He whips around the doorway and you open fire. The shot is just a little shaky, a little low. It slams into his hip. His return shot is better, and you can feel a heavy pain in your chest. You try to steady your gun, but he manages to stagger forward and fires again. Shock hits you. Your arm suddenly goes lax and the rifle drops to the ground. You cough, and the world spins.
Things go dark very quickly.

mastahcheese Doppelganger Observant Guard Kill Toonyman Kills Dies
ToonyMan. Yes...ToonyMan shall be the meal for the night. You sniff the air in anticipation. You can smell him out there. Yes. Time to
hunt!
You approach his house. Odd, the back door is open. Another person? Well, no matter, you can kill two of the humans. That's fine.
As you move forward you hear shots and curses. A battle! You sneak forward and extend your senses, just in time to for your prey to fire two shots into another human. But that one got in a hit too, yes. The blood stench is strong. He is armed, but weakened!
You rush inside at him. He shouldn't have had time to react! No, not injured as he is! But he does. The shot pierces your chest. You breathing becomes labored. Bad. Very bad. But the bloodlust carries you on. Your claws rip at him. The weapon is cast aside!
Attack! Attack! Attack! Blood flies. The prey is dying!
Blood spilling. Blood...filling..lungs.
You....you are dying.
You...cannot attack any more.
You...cannot breath.
The floor is cold and hard.
Death is very cold.

Eyes closed, you listen to the wind outside. The slight creek of wood. You will those sounds to fade. Eventually you hear only your own heartbeat. The light of the fireplace dies away as well, and you feel your mind detaching from your body.
Free to drift in the Ether, you look around. The minds of the other inhabitants of the valley shine in the darkness like sparks of light, and you focus on one of them. Jim Groovester's. You glide towards it with a thought and dip down to read the surface emotions. It seems he wishes to
