Maybe tonight Ill follow  you then. xoxo

You'll follow the claimed enchanter, and waste your entire night and come up Day 3 with nothing as well? It's a stupid plan even if I am a doppelganger, why would I do the night kill if I knew you were following me?

Cheeetar

Jim literally suggested that I went to Tooney because I wanted to gamble on the slim chance he
a) wasnt the war vet [hint: I suspected he could be]
b)  somebody else would visit him.

Which is dumb, unless I knew somebody else would go . . .
I was merely making a poor joke.

  In fact

Jim

If Im so scummy, and youre willing to cling onto wild theories, why havent you rererevoted me?  Or anyone?

Pisskop, Jim is saying you might have colluded with your scumbuddy mastahcheese to watch Tooony to see if anyone else was targeting him so you could pin the blame on that person. Of course that would require you to have watched Toony. Now I think about it, I haven't got a satisfactory answer as to why you picked Toony of all people. Can you point to where in D1 you were suspicious of him? And why did you mess up with the following/watching? And why was you alleged message to Meph so full of typos? What was going through your head when you were picking targets?

Deus, did Pisskop confide in you about his choice of targets? What did you think about his pick? Quote the pm if you have it.

Not only did I send my choice to DA, I also sent it to you, NQT.

What are you doing?  Weve already tread this ground for one thing.

Does this information that Jim's suggestion wasnt serious change the fact that a player as aggressive as Jim has done nought but inquire politely about my night activities?
Where are his other reads?  His other votes.
Jim  why are you still voteless and readless today?  Am I your only read?

Guess I wasn't very in-the-ball there. I shouldn't post when I need sleep. I still think you're somewhat brushing off how you managed to confuse following with watching.

It was an honest mistake.
And one Im shamed to have made.
I learned quite a bit from this game thus far, between my hastiness and the syntax and operation of select players, and dont expect future games to play out this way.

Cheeetar, ask the Medium to ask ToonyMan how many people he shot at during Night 1. I think ToonyMan would have said something if something was up but there's no harm in being thorough.

Jim literally suggested that I went to Tooney because I wanted to gamble on the slim chance he
a) wasnt the war vet [hint: I suspected he could be]
b)  somebody else would visit him.

Let's clarify some things.

When you were thinking about what to do as a Reporter for N1, you thought ToonyMan was a War Vet. You also thought there was a slim chance other people would visit him.

Let's establish that that's what you're saying here, because that looks like what you're saying.

Jim  why are you still voteless and readless today?  Am I your only read?

There's no special reason why I'm taking so long to decide other than I just am. If you want to call me scum, go ahead and do it. And then later claim you were doing a reaction test.

If you want my reads you can read back a couple pages to where I posted them. I suspect you strongest and the only thing holding me back from voting you is the collection of night actions that at least initially appears to make you unlikely to be scum.

1)  nope

2)  Its pretty suspish, actually.
Big Bad Jimbo only has eyes for me?
Who are my scumbuddies?  You need 2.  Youve provided nothing but basic conjecture and theory that progresses an agenda to kill me.

He doesn't need to name scumbuddies to successfully pursue a case on you.

I'm really, really looking forward to your scumpicks, Toaster.

Cheeetar, ask the Medium to ask ToonyMan how many people he shot at during Night 1. I think ToonyMan would have said something if something was up but there's no harm in being thorough.

Passed it along. You could probably also just address questions to dead people/'The Medium', and it'd find its way to this thread.

Don't have the time today for a full read, but I'm at least going to spot read and follow up on that Scripten hunch.  (PPE:  Which took longer than I though.  Still sick, need sleep.)

NQT:
(why would scum follow the person they intended to kill? As an alibi?)

Seems like a legit reason to me.

Toaster, so... now your only scum pick is dead what are you going to do?

Get sick, watch the Super Bowl, and generally be unable to scrape together the time for a proper post.  Trying to do bits at a time, at least.

One for you, though.  Let's assume for a second that Tiruin comes up with a case on someone that's satisfactory to you.  Who would you be voting then?  Is your desire to see Shakerag's flip for the associative tells high enough that you would hang him for it?

Tiruin:
Scripten

So you're tasked to vote just to prove you're willing to do it, and you vote the guy voting you all day?  Sigh.

So I finally figured out what was bugging me about Scripten.  All his votes so far have been wishy-washy and toothless!  He doesn't accuse people; he votes people almost apologetically.  Look at these:

TheDarkStar: Low content vote with no substance - Little content in this game thus far and this vote is bandwagon-y

Starts decent, if a bit thin.  Doesn't address TDS directly.

Toonyman: You haven't done a whole lot of actual scumhunting this game. You've been absent for RL stuff, and I understand that, but what posts you do have seem to state facts without drawing much in the way of conclusions. I would appreciate if you could give me a short summary of what you feel you've accomplished so far this game.

No teeth in this one.

You know, I'd actually forgotten that Deathsword was even in this game. That's some impressive active lurking. Let's see some real scumhunting come from over there.

A suggestion instead of an accusation.

Unvote Deathsword
Vote Tiruin

Tiruin: Please respond to my question when you can. I would also like it if you were to summarize what you have done this game.

"Please when you can I would like it"

I understand politeness, but where's Bad Cop?

The Tiruin wagon doesn't look like it's going to go anywhere before deadline. Since I highly doubt I could push a Toonyman wagon in that time, either, I'm just going to go with TDS for today. He's not contributing much of anything and has been on the edge of my scum radar most of the day.

Unvote Tiruin
Vote TheDarkStar

"Meh"

Just went through Mastahcheese's posts. He was pretty amicable toward Tiruin and I'm still thinking she's dopp, unless I missed something.

Now this, his only D2 vote, does get credit for being the first one where he actually calls someone scum... but totally fails to provide any evidence whatsoever to his case.  He's sat on it since and done nothing with it.  He's posting, but just spinning his wheels.

Scripten, are you afraid to challenge someone as scum because you're scum yourself?  I believe it is.

Tiruin remains a number 2 pick, as she has still yet to accuse anyone of anything, but is at least up front about that.  Scripten's trying to pretend.

I'll dig more tomorrow.  I know I'm a jerkass for delaying it this long, but when I have to stop to cough or run to the bathroom every few minutes, it's hard to concentrate.

Oh dammit; went to close the browser and forgot I had this up in another window.

So we have several inactive players. We also have several active lurkers. I would much rather lynch the active lurkers than Pisskop, Flabort, or the inactives/replacers at the moment. All this PM business is confusing and I want flips before we start lynching in the (fake?)claimed PRs. Flabort's actions are weird, but they don't make sense for scum. I don't know about third party, but I feel like hunting scum should take priority over hunting third parties, since we at least know how many scum there are right now. Pisskop's slot has been acting strangely, and is posting style makes me reflexively want to lynch the crap out of him, but I can see potential town motive in him trying to push Flabort to vig players. (He's a watcher variant, isn't he?)

Also, look at this.  Scripten's talking about lynch targets and people he "suspects," but he's not taking ownership of any of those names.  Where does he say "I think X_PERSON should be lynched" here in this post?  Nowhere.  This is wishy-washy scum behavior.
