I'm having trouble parsing what you're claiming, Deus Asmoth.
First of all: I was never 100% certain that Flabort was town, and saying that is mischaracterising me to the extreme. I would have been had I died, because he wouldn't've told me he was planning to kill ToonyMan if he was planning on killing me. I made this clear before.
Secondly: Did you really want to be going out of your way to prevent Flabort from making a kill and proving his claim of vigilante? You're aware that the reason many wanted him to survive the night was for him to be able to prove his roleclaim, and that protecting the person he was going to kill would be minimising town's information?
Third: Why not protect Flabort, who as a vigilante was a much higher priority for death than Pisskop?
Fourth: The 'corpse' if you had protected Flabort would've been ToonyMan's, the one with the bullet in it. We know from flavour he was targeted by a human as well as a doppelganger, and I would've been more than able to back up Flabort's claim that he planned on killing ToonyMan. Given that Mastahcheese would still be dead at Toony's house, and revealed as a doppelganger, we would have a confirmed human vigilante.

What do I think you protected Pisskop from? ToonyMan. Why do you think it wasn't him?

Tiruin, who would you say are the three most scummy people at the moment?
PFP

From my reads and logic onto the claimed roles overwriting some reads (yeah pisskop was high on the list <_<)

Mastahcheese is a Dopp Guard.

Right, so we have claimed roles...like, already.
A Reporter )who was somehow prioritized to be protected by a GUARDIAN(
A Guardian...who I think can't die unless is NK'd TWICE (or alien item override? Like the Assassin Bot?)
Toaster did nothing or was busy on Survival last night (was info passed onto me, I shan't tell whom--I didn't start the conversation though with that person)

So why were there 4 pods? Am I missing something or are people forgetting that this may be a 4-man scumteam? :V

I'm guessing because one of the scumteam died last night?

  • Bodyguard
        Race: Human/Doppelganger
        Goal: Protect
Flavor: When killed while performing a Protection the Bodyguard's remains will be found somewhere outside of their room/house.
Rules: The Bodyguard is randomly given one of four abilities at the start of the game. The bodyguard uses these abilities to protect another player during the night.

    • Heroic Guard: The bodyguard will protect the other player with their life. This variant will sacrifice themself to prevent all night-kills targeting the other player from effecting them. The Bodyguard dies at the end of the night.
    • Observant Guard: The bodyguard will protect the other player with their life. This variant protects against the first night-kill against their target, and will determine the identity of the attacker and pass on this information to their guarded target. The Bodyguard dies at the end of the night.
    • Vengeful Guard: The bodyguard will protect the other player with their life. This variant protects against the first night-kill against their target and kills the attacker in the process. The Bodyguard dies at the end of the night.
    • Guardian: This powerful bodyguard will prevent one kill attempt on the target that night. The Guardian is not killed by doing so.
        Victory: Town/Doppelgangers win

This is from Meph's second post in the thread. The flavour for mastahcheese dying does not match the flavour for an observant guard who is guarding somebody- they weren't found somewhere outside their room/house, and were instead found in Toony's house. This means it's unlikely MC was doing anything other than performing the nightkill, and thus Pisskop had no reason to claim being near Toony's house except for actually watching it as a reporter. Unvote Pisskop, tentatively. Incredibly poor play can explain a lot of the scummy things he's done.

Toaster, what are your current top 3 scum picks?

I don't disagree with your reasoning Cheeetar, but personally I read that flavor as to meaning the bodyguard will be found outside their own house, not their target's. Inside someone else's house is still outside their own.

I'm still trying to figure out why Pisskop's supposed flavor didn't mention the people who visited Toony, though. Does his action not go through if he's meant to be killed but is protected?
Was it explained somewhere and I've just missed it?

pisskop decided to type the PM to Meph wrong, and actually watched where Tooney went instead of who visited him.  Much shame was had.

That's kind of a big mistake. Just be happy the person was a Vet and we can assume that basically anyone who visited him was killed anyway.

At the moment I'm mostly just waiting for NQT's 'big reveal.' Also, I'm back at school now so my overall activity will probably go downwards.

At the moment my biggest suspect is ZU. I don't want to vote for them yet because they just replaced in, however, and I realise that most (though not all) of that suspicion is leaking over from Deathsword's actions.

Thus far I think the day has been quite chaotic.

Quick post. There's no reason for the scumteam to kill the guardian, so the only downside is that scum can eliminate someone they don't need to kill.

Cheeetar:
I'm having trouble parsing what you're claiming, Deus Asmoth.
First of all: I was never 100% certain that Flabort was town, and saying that is mischaracterising me to the extreme. I would have been had I died, because he wouldn't've told me he was planning to kill ToonyMan if he was planning on killing me. I made this clear before.
Hey. If I die in the night, quote this for the thread? I'm sending this to you because I think you're less likely to be mafia. I've sent this separately to 3 other people, and I'm going to send a list of the people I sent this PM to to one other person, so don't think about not quoting it. Cheers!

Flabort isn't mafia.
Yes, I can see how it's totally misrepresenting the opinions you presented if I say that you were certain that flabort wasn't scum.
Quote
Secondly: Did you really want to be going out of your way to prevent Flabort from making a kill and proving his claim of vigilante? You're aware that the reason many wanted him to survive the night was for him to be able to prove his roleclaim, and that protecting the person he was going to kill would be minimising town's information?
So it's worth letting an investigative role on the town's side get killed when I can do something to prevent it so that we can make sure that another player is a vigilante- and not necessarily one on our side? That's an odd way of looking at it, unless you're trying to get the town killed off for some reason.

Quote
Third: Why not protect Flabort, who as a vigilante was a much higher priority for death than Pisskop?
Because I trusted pisskop more, flabort's roleclaim was bizarre and pointless and he spent most of day one acting like a lunatic.
Quote
Fourth: The 'corpse' if you had protected Flabort would've been ToonyMan's, the one with the bullet in it. We know from flavour he was targeted by a human as well as a doppelganger, and I would've been more than able to back up Flabort's claim that he planned on killing ToonyMan. Given that Mastahcheese would still be dead at Toony's house, and revealed as a doppelganger, we would have a confirmed human vigilante.
No, we would have had a confirmed vigilante that could be a human or a doppelganger. There's a pretty major difference there. And by the by, I can back up pisskop's claim that he was going to investigate Tooney.

Quote
What do I think you protected Pisskop from? ToonyMan. Why do you think it wasn't him?
I don't think it wasn't him. You seem to be suggesting that pisskop's reporter claim is false and you're certainly trying to convince people that he's scum, so there would be no reason for him to target Tooney at all on the same night as they planned to kill him, unless you're willing to admit some gaping holes in your fourth claim there. Since he wouldn't have been targeting Tooney, I would have had to protect him from something else, so I was curious about what you thought that was.

Tiruin:

I'd really love to hear your reasoning for this. How is the only possible conclusion here that we're both scum? And if you believe it's the only possible explanation, why aren't you voting for either of us?

You both are newbies, above the preliminary line of suspecting both of you being scum.

For some reason--you decide to protect the Reporter out of all people present; someone who may or may not be scum, and probably wasn't told on the Reporter's target.
Next is why you revealed yourself as the Guardian in the first place. I'm unsure if you stated why, if at all--just that you stated 'I protected pisskop, I'm the Guardian'.
Probably because this was all told in PMs (hence my initial suspicion that this game is 50%~ in PMs >:I)

50/50 scum/town time:
If you're scum, you somewhat guarded Pisskop...for what purpose? Trust of the Reporter? :V And somehow you revealed yourself to him--with the utter lack of suspicion on his front?
Yeah, a ton of details are lost in between. And furthering that, a ton of details you aren't telling.

If he's scum and you're town--you would also be suspicious of his requests or whatever, but I don't even know how in the world both of you got in friendly terms with each other that way, because neither of you even speak about it in public thread. Doubly so, that...of all the darn people, you somehow value a Reporter, who you may or may not know the alignment of (unless both are scum), instead of randomly picking all other people here. Like, really.

Also, why did you guard pisskop?

Because I asked him to, silly.  :P
Jim, I saved Pisskop from a shot that came from a window of (presumably) Tooney's house. I guarded him because I figured that after flabort outed him to the entire game it was a reasonably good bet that the scumteam would try to kill him.
With pisskop giving that kind of answer.
>_>
<_<
'Reasonably good bet' compared to what? What is your reasoning behind that choice, over a random other?

The question back there, expounded, is this:
What made you trust the claimed Reporter and decided to tell your role as a GUARDIAN to said REPORTER?
