hmm cheeetar is obstinate and stubbourn, but he's like that in the actual debates I've seen him in.  I chalked it up to his personality.
Would explain a little, I suppose, if he flipped scum.

Persus:These were cheese's only replies to the gambit:
I'm going to go ahead and hit "Reply to all" so we can keep this in a single message line, so it doesn't bog down my our PM boxes.

Beyond that, I... really don't know what to say?

You could be lying, but you've already stated it's a gambit, so there's no point in mentioning it.

I think I'm going to stick to posting in the thread, still, unless I really feel the need to say something here.
Your gambits are bad and you should feel bad
...Ok, now you're acting weird.

Is it that you don't want people protecting you, or don't want people targeting you, period?
(In response to me asking Mask why we shouldn't think that he was only trying to root out town protective roles by claiming an investigative role, and Mask saying that someone protecting him would defeat the purpose of his gambit.)

He didn't seem to want to be involved in it, but he didn't really need to be, I guess. He had what information he needed.

-Why did you vote for Flabort?  Link
Specifically, why did you point out that the vote was now tied?
-Do you still find UXLZ scummy?
I've already detailed why I voted for flabort.
At least slightly so, yes.

I am going to be getting back into the swing of things, but not right now because I am rather busy with other stuff.

Well everything is alright again unless it just happens that the remaining scumteam happens to be Deus, Pisskop, NQT, which would be pretty funny.

This wouldn't surprise me, but hopefully the scum team is smarter than to be this obvious. I'm willing to lynch Pisskop to see if they are- he's still the player I see as most scummy. Pisskop, you mentioned it would 'explain a little' if I was scum. Do you want to elevate that to an actual FoF for something, or are you too cowardly?

Deus, did you honestly think a person who claimed reporter (not that high a priority for mafia to kill?) and was a very likely lynch target day 2 was a worthy protect target?

Scripten: Where did you spot the bit about Tiruin and MC being friendly. I failed to see anything out of the ordinary between the two, so where did you spot it?

Just this. It's admittedly minor, but I just feel like she's taken a very distant approach to the game that doesn't feel like what I've seen her as when she plays town. Granted, I haven't got as much interactive experience with her meta to tell.

Cheeetar:...yes? I'm interested as to why you considered him a likely lynch candidate at the end of day one though, considering that the only people who seemed invested in seeing him dead by the end of the day were Mastahcheese, flabort and yourself (to the point of asking flabort to night kill him). And why would an outed investigative role not be a high priority for the dopps to night kill?

The reporter is not really an investigative role in the same way the detective or FBI agent is- he's a lot weaker (imho). I think he was a likely lynch candidate because he was, for a while, going to be the lynch for day 1 and I don't think he redeemed himself in any way- do you disagree?

Yeah. I'm going to have to agree with Jim and vote pisskop unless someone claims guardian.
This is a lazy vote with anti-town reasoning. Why would you want a protective role to out themselves just to avoid someone else's lynch, and more to the point, why is this the only situation where you'd unvote pisskop completely out of his own control? Zombie Urist.
Because this is the only situation where pisskop wouldn't be lying scum. Also if pisskop were town, then scum would already know that a guardian must exist and having the guardian claim then wouldn't be very useful to the scum anyways.

Then vote me. Also, not here, your reasoning behind your picks. Does this mean you consider Jim, Cheetar, and Scripten to be town? Why?
Nah. I think I'll vote for UXLZ instead for having a huge number of posts with very little content. Also early in the day he answered a bunch of questions, but didn't ask any of his own.
12345 Most of his posts are like this. Passive and just answering questions.
UXLZ hasn't yet made a solid attack on anyone so far and I doubt he has any real suspects. So:

UXLZ: Who do you suspect and why?

I think Jim is town. Cheetar might be town but I'm less sure of this. Scripten is probably town b/c of his large posts to mastahcheese. Shakerag is a wildcard and I don't have a good read of him yet. Tiruin is kinda scummy for not yet having suspected anyone this day yet.

Bah, need more time for this game.

Wanted to mention that this post makes me uncomfortable, but I can't put my finger on why. I need to look back and study this more intently.

While you were sifting through for low-content posts to base your suspicion for me off of, you may have just so happened to miss the two large 'attacks' I made on people... TDS, and the person you replaced in for, DeathSword.
Also, you do realise that most of those 'junk' posts you quoted were actually fairly relevant, right? Given how many I actually have total, surely you can find something better than that. I know from memory there were one or two where I was just teasing Tiruin.

UXLZ: Who do you suspect and why?

At the moment, primarily, you. Tiruin as well, but mostly you, due to Deathsword's previous actions in your slot, and logic like this.

So you're saying that knowing the exact identity of the Guardian (probably the best protective role in the game) isn't really all that different than just knowing that one exists?
Unless I'm miscounting there should be 12 players left in this game. Discounting three for the scum team, that's a one out of nine chance of hitting the Guardian with their nightkill. If the Guardian claims? One out of one.

Do you think the difference between 11% and 100% is 'not very useful'?

Of course, the Guardian already seems to have claimed so it's too late now, but I want to try and understand your logic. To do that, I'll try applying it to something else.

Still not seeing it, honestly...

UXLZ.

The guardian came forward, UZ lived up to the scumminess we expected, and I dont have a snowball's chance in hell of being lynched.

What do you think of the day 02 thus far?

Cheeetar: Well, to start with we didn't have any detectives or agents outed to the entire game by flabort so I'm not entirely sure what your point is there. I decided to protect the target that was most likely to get killed, whether by scum or by flabort. He was the leading lynch candidate for two votecounts (and only had the most people voting for him for one of those). Obviously I thought he was town at the end of the day, or I would have been protecting someone else. What do you find so scummy about him? Since you don't believe pisskop's reporter claim, but you were 100% certain that flabort was town, how would you be reacting now if I'd protected flabort instead and we had a dead reporter and someone claiming to be a vigilante, but no corpse to back him up?

What do you think that I protected pisskop from last night if it wasn't Tooneyman veteraning around and we already know who the scumkill was aimed at?

Zombie:
Because this is the only situation where pisskop wouldn't be lying scum. Also if pisskop were town, then scum would already know that a guardian must exist and having the guardian claim then wouldn't be very useful to the scum anyways.
You're saying that the scum being aware of a guardian role means that it doesn't benefit them at all when that guardian has to claim? Let's go for some basic maths here and work out that discounting three players to make up the scumteam and one for pisskop the town reporter, that leaves five possible candidates for the guardian role. How can it possibly not be beneficial to the scum team if you try to force the guardian to claim his role and knock their list of targets from five down to one?

Why did you only present any sort of case against one of your top three suspects when pressured to? Why have you only asked questions of one out of three of the people you think are scummy?
