Ah, it was the wording of 'compelling arguments' wasn't it? That was a bit of a verbal cock-up, rather than 'arguments that show he is definitely scum', I meant something more along the lines of 'arguments that show this discussion is worth continuing with at the moment.'

Hrrrrrm. Okay.

Do you personally think the flabort/4maskwolf/pisskop kerfluffle is worth continuing to discuss?

This is odd - you don't want us scumhunting? This isn't the only note you make about this, either - I'd say you wanted to remove suspicion from flabort or pisskop.

If you read that exchange between me and UXLZ the context of my question should become clear.

I'm not trying to shut down discussion, I'm asking UXLZ why he seemingly wants to.

I've given my reasons for voting. Yes, my content is low, but not as low as other people. My vote was for someone that other people were voting, but I had a justification for that vote that other people didn't suggest. What is it specifically that makes/made you suspicious of me?

Firstly, the timing. You voted flabort shortly after he claimed vig.

Then your additional reasoning came around and I was not impressed with the points you made.

Then you disappeared.

How is this a response to Tiruin's comment? It's an attack on something unrelated to dodge the question.

People look silly if they complain about votes when they themselves have yet to cast any.

Also, I never voted for Deathsword, so Tiruin's comment isn't even directed at me.

What have I done, specifically, that makes my scummy?

Lurk.

We'll see how I feel about you if your post frequency picks up again.

Woo, internet connection is really bad here!

Query to those voting me--out of all the ideas of reason, lurking is the best excuse for a valid vote thus far?
When in fact its technical issues that stop me from even browsing the thread? >_<

Also, yes, NQT. I have town reads and lacking scum reads--do note that pisskop et al, who are viewed as scummy by others and then some, looking back in your brief review of my reads has not been commented on by yourself. :v

PFP I can't load B12 correctly. This is taking minutes to load...a new page >_>

TDS:
Deus Asmoth:
Pisskop, what was the reason for the differences in your PMs? How did you decide who got which one?

So, some reads:
TDS: Also pretty inactive, but my problem here is that even in his longer posts he hasn't been doing much in the way of scumhunting. His last post was focussed entirely on supporting the flabort wagon and the ones before it were all very brief. Aside from his first post and one to UXLZ, all of his comments have been about that wagon.

At the time I posted, almost all of anyone's non-RVS comments were about that wagon. Along with this, I was scumhunting in what time I could (I've been fairly inactive across the entire mafia forum for the last few days since then). Why does my post make me scummy? What do you think of the wagon that grew around me and disappeared within three or so pages?
I'm assuming that your questions above that quote were intended for UXLZ. You weren't scumhunting, though. The only question you asked to anyone besides flabort up until now was why UXLZ was concerned about someone finding out his role. The rest of your posts were either tunnelling flabort or answering questions that other people asked you. I think that your wagon was justified in most cases, and blatant bandwagoning in others (pisskop). I've already asked him about that, though.

Scripten:
So we have several inactive players. We also have several active lurkers. I would much rather lynch the active lurkers than Pisskop, Flabort, or the inactives/replacers at the moment.

I'd like to see your name list for this.

Pisskop:
The idea of free-for-all whispering in mafia is a new concept to me, which I rather like thus far.  I feel that the overall gain is positive for me.  I have what I feel is a small town block set aside.  And, as a bonus, Flabort's over-reactions have outed his handler's, which I'm going to demand he tell us about.  It's likely Tiruin or Jim, but, you know . . .

If we're trying to test Flabort's alignment, why would we want to offload a critical decision of his onto someone else?  Vig kills are pretty obvious; he should pick his own target then explain in detail why he made that choice the following day.  That way we can see if his justification is valid or crap.

Deus:
Toaster: I didn't have a vote down because I out for the weekend and couldn't catch up with the thread enough to justify a vote on someone to myself, since I'd prefer to read over someone's actions for the entire day before voting for them.

And I'd prefer to see your vote history for the day so your evolving suspects are there for the world to see.

NQT:  Yeah, I got you now.

Flabort:  Do I need to bust out the "no fun allowed" robot?  You're calling Shakerag cracking jokes as jestering.  Have you ever played a game with him before?

TheDarkStar:
"Now I'm revealed too. 4mask, what do you say to that?"

He's basically saying "Look what you made me do!", and putting the blame on 4mask for his own mistakes is scummy.

Eh, I guess.

More coming.

Sure.

Deathsword, Tiruin, TheDarkStar, Persus13, and Toonyman are lurky. That's nearly a third of the players in the game. Of those, Tiruin, Toonyman, and Deathsword felt at various parts of the day like they were active lurking. I'm voting Tiruin until she responds to my posts directed her way.

So we have several inactive players. We also have several active lurkers. I would much rather lynch the active lurkers than Pisskop, Flabort, or the inactives/replacers at the moment. All this PM business is confusing and I want flips before we start lynching in the (fake?)claimed PRs. Flabort's actions are weird, but they don't make sense for scum. I don't know about third party, but I feel like hunting scum should take priority over hunting third parties, since we at least know how many scum there are right now. Pisskop's slot has been acting strangely, and is posting style makes me reflexively want to lynch the crap out of him, but I can see potential town motive in him trying to push Flabort to vig players. (He's a watcher variant, isn't he?)
Defense of Pisskop and Flabort noted.

ToonyMan:
Would you say you decided to avoid being involved with Pisskop/4mask & Flabort? The day was extended so it doesn't really matter, but if Day 1 really did end on yesterday then I think it would have very likely been a Flabort lynch based on this post. Your post just to unvote shortly later doesn't seem to be doing anything besides distancing.
I wouldn't say that I was avoiding getting involved with PMgate over there.  As I said before, I had a vote on pisskop just for a bit of prodding for reactions, and had no solid reasons to keep that vote on him for the (at that time) end of the day.  If I come to the conclusion that pisskop/flabort are the scummiest, then I'm going to park a vote on one of them regardless of whatever "gambitz" were had earlier.
Mmmkay.

Well, I will be killing either Shakerag or TheDarkStar, depending on how the day goes, if I live through day 1.
Super.  Welp, good to know I don't need to bother participating for the rest of the day.  GG, all.
That's not productive. Maybe you have a reason to vote Flabort now.

Speaking of which. Flabort and Pisskop can go die. My other lynch choices would be Mastahcheese and Shakerag. Maybe Scripten.

I'm voting Flabort instead of Pisskop, because you know they're going to end up shooting the wrong person even if they were town, and that's no good. Not that I believe they're town. I also do not like half of the people on the Pisskop and Tiruin lynchwagons, so there.

I'm not a person who ignores posts and feels pressured by this 'active lurking' and all >.>
Its my net. When I mentioned its on/off, I really mean it ._. along with the LONG load times per page x_x
...Meaning I've had many posts already in the *click > post* area, to the 'loading' to see the finished result...only to end up at 'Problem Loading Page'...and me thanking the browser creators for the 'back' function, so I can recall all my text and wait to reconnect.
A half hour later or so >_<
...Also your wording is strange o_O

'We felt at various parts of the day like we are active lurking'?
Or...'I feel they're active lurking'?
My parser seems broken.

...posts...posts...hmm. I like my mouse wheel. Enables multiple loading. Random thoughts. Avatars are helpful post-recognition devices.

Found it!
...A few more pages back.
~ Summary of what I have done this day (though you used game instead of day? Whaa?)
Well.
> I tried to create an RVS--fell flat due to the number of posts, and that they were modeled along attitude rather than game-related 'what would you do if {x} role//did {y}//with {z}', which wasn't necessarily needed by the time I got into "playing" (hurrah timezones o_O)
> Technical/RL issues happened. Coincidentally, my second game in a row (sorry 4mask, Operation Overlord is an awesome game) which hindered posting activity.
> Me looking at the events as they proceed and inquiring on what I see and measuring such with common sense/rational logic.
> Me failing to follow it all up effectively due to the second marker here.
> Me flailing my arms and resolving to inquire on general questions given the hilarity availability of network fun, to at least push forward 'what other people are doing and why'.
> Me looking at 'oh hey, day end', and then resting my forehead in my palms with a look of dismay and the sadness that is my productivity ratio.

Now I found it!
...No, that isn't 'more' accurate. Why I added those details that make it long, is to make it more accurate.
The list there? Basic skimming. The note on ToonyMan (which I guess is why you put a !!!?, because it was a curious find, compared to what is given in thread?) is more of my recall of his attitude and how he posts, what he asks and...well, a mixed case less in metaknowledge and more on behavioral tendencies.
Though if you'd work by basic details, then yeah, the 'summarized list' is ok: I put the details because of the fluidity of the situation. It's too early to begin judging people here, and considering that I haven't read fully the last pages until now, its an 'ugh x_x' case for me.

Though I have been reading up. Just not thoroughly reading.
