Which of your reads am I ignoring, exactly? And you weren't unable to post for all of day 2, you even replied immediately after the post that I just quoted.

Yes, I decided to trust Mask based off the debacle that his idea turned into and his demeanour throughout, particularly since he specifically didn't want to be guarded before flabort revealed the gambit, which wouldn't have made sense if he'd been scum.

There are a bunch of people who haven't claimed.

Like Toaster.
And Persus13.
And Scripten.
And Tiruin's N2 action.

Not to mention all the people who have made nary a peep once the word mass claim started being thrown around. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why they're being so quiet hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm a Heroic Guard, I protected Scripten N1, and Deus Asmoth N2.

I...am wary on that note of 'confirmed'
Why is he confirmed town again?
(About Deus Asmoth)

Assume DA was scum. He is partners with MC, and knows who MC is going to target. DA is still a bodyguard, as confirmed by Pisskop the townie saying he was protected, DA claiming it was him, and nobody counterclaiming.

DA chose to protect a townie. The disadvantages of doing so are that the townie might not die in the night, making it harder for him to win.
DA could have chosen MC, the advantages of which would have been possibly saving his partner from death with no disadvantages (bodyguard can't die from defending somebody).

In the event that DA broke his promise to Pisskop and Pisskop died, Pisskop would have been dead and in very little position to say that DA had not protected him.

So, why would scum DA ever protect somebody who wasn't one of his partners?
To get town credit. And for the bolded part we do have a medium and while we didn't know that N1, scum might have been concerned about that. Deus Asmoth is not confirmed because it's still possible for him to be scum. Is it unlikely that he is scum, I believe yes, but him being confirmed town is a completely different thing from probably not scum.

He was far from the only one. Both of us, ZU and Shakerag all showed suspicion of Tiruin at day end.

I'm more interested in why UXLZ suddenly decided to switch to pisskop with a reflex vote and then left before seeing day end.

UXLZ: Why did you vote pisskop at day end yesterday?

I didn't find anything weird about his vote, tbh. He showed suspicion of pisskop throughout the day, and his vote shows consistent mental inertia. I am a little worried about some of his RVS/RQS-style questioning. (Rolling dice is way weird this far into the game.) But he's also a newbie and his play here feels similar to his town play in the newbie game I played with him. I'd like to know more of what UXLZ thinks, possibly put into reads, but mostly as concise snippets of thoughts, since scum are least able to hide in them.

Cheeetar:[ No massclaim, I'd say. It'd give scum a list of priority players to kill. I feel like it'd be most optimal only to post roles that are confirmed to be revealed to the scumteam. (After flips or whatnot.) I didn't get/ask for any information from NQT about his contacts, but he seemed to be pretty well ingrained, which might also have gotten him killed. We should be looking back at his analysis from the end of the day very carefully because of his role.
I wasn't asking you about your opinion on UXLZ's vote. This post really strikes me as odd.

Scum already probably have a list of priority players to kill. DA has already claimed Guardian and no one is suspicious of Jim.

Will post more after lunch and class.

Jim:

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why they're being so quiet hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Fakeclaiming as scum isn't exactly hard to do in this sort of setup.

Anyway, I'm just going to claim town vet. At this point, I can't justify fakeclaiming to keep my role useful, though I had thought about doing so.

I'm pretty sure Zombie Urist is a Psychic Warden, considering I was psychically blocked N1. (This is what I was talking about when I said that we're pretty obviously not aligned or we're both town.)

Actually, this reminds me of something that's been bothering me.

Deus Asmoth:

You said that you were a Guardian, right? I seem to remember pisskop/4maskwolf reporting his flavor as having been blocked psychically. Now that I think back on it, that doesn't quite add up and I wonder if you might have something that would help me figure this out?

Persus13:

I wasn't asking you about your opinion on UXLZ's vote. This post really strikes me as odd.

What's your point? I can't comment on things you aren't specifically asking me about?

Scum already probably have a list of priority players to kill. DA has already claimed Guardian and no one is suspicious of Jim.

Jim has had several people suspicious of him throughout the game, IIRC.

Scripten, when was this? The only thing I can think of that would make that remotely make sense to me would be if someone mixed up psychically and physically at some point, since my flavour said I pulled him into some bushes.

DA/Scripten:

What happened was pisskop claimed to have watched Toony and people asked him why he hadn't seen flabort or mastahcheese, which is what would have happened if he had watched Toony, and DA's protection wouldn't have prevented him from seeing this. He wondered if he had been blocked (which is done by a psychic Warden) before discovering that his action had been to follow Toony, not watch him.

I'm an Enchanter.  As such, I have no actions to claim.

I'll post some thinking and some reads when my brain is working; past couple days have been insane and I can barely think.

I'll post NQT's role list once I have access to the deadchat later tonight. Either that or he can PM it to me if he feels like it, but as far as I remember, everything adds up. May as well ask Tiruin to post her N2 investigation, even though they're practically pointless unless the person she investigates does the night kill.

Assuming there's no fake claiming going on, there's only one third party role? I would have expected at least one more, given how many players there are in this game. Wait, we have two people claiming Enchanter. Is it possible one of them is actually a survivor? Is there any point where we can be certain either of the people claiming Enchanter are telling the truth? (it doesn't matter too much since Survivor is a non-malevolent third party, but I'm curious.)

It would have actually been a catastrophic mistake to try. Fake claiming would not have worked out for the scum players. The only person who would have gotten away with fake claiming (at least, a drastic one) was you.

I think pisskop said something about being blocked...

DA/Scripten:

Ah, that was it. My mistake.

Didn't Tiruin claim that she investigated Toaster and he came up as Survivor? Assuming she is telling the truth (even a scum telepath would benefit from revealing a survivor), then that would make Toaster the third party.

It would have actually been a catastrophic mistake to try. Fake claiming would not have worked out for the scum players. The only person who would have gotten away with fake claiming (at least, a drastic one) was you.

I considered it and tried to put as much thought into it as possible, but ultimately it just didn't seem like the best decision. Scum -might- have killed me, but more likely I would have missed something and gotten myself mislynched for it.

Telepath results are Find, Kill, and Survive. Toaster came up as Survive, which numerous roles have as a goal as listed in the OP.

Either that or killed Jim/Deus. Unless I'm missing something those two should be the only ones leaving their houses at this point. Oh, and Persus.

Worth mentioning: Neither of the enchanters are actually confirmed enchanters. There's no point where the double vote would have actually made a difference, Cheeetar could have just been bluffing originally.

If you'd like to test my enchanter by having a tie vote but for my vote, you're welcome to. It wouldn't prove anything (enchanter can still be a doppelganger), but y'know, sure.

Deus, why didn't you post Persus13's read list?

I'm a Heroic Guard, I protected Scripten N1, and Deus Asmoth N2.

Sure. Why?

To get town credit with... the person who could otherwise be dead? It's just such shockingly poor play. I'm not willing to believe DA is that bad at Mafia. Honestly, I'm not sure why you're so confident that DA could be scum. Why do you think there's doubt here, other than 'it is technically possible for him to have been brain dead in selecting his actions'?
