I saw Scripten as town after D1

Why was this?

I'm a psychic warden. N1 I blocked Scripten because I found him suspicious for reasons I posted D1 and N2 I blocked Jim.

Jim's D2 list of reads is pretty bad.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Basically everyone is "meh" or "lurking". Also Jim said I was kinda scummy without any evidence or basically any prior suspicions.

These D1 reads aren't great either.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Jim was right about TDS, but TDS was 3rd party so it doesn't really mean Jim is town. The rest are just discussing the Flabort/4mask thingy. Also note here that Jim said Pisskop was being new-ish and then in D2 basically pushed for his lynch.

I browsed through your linked posts and found nothing that said "HEY LOOK HE'S DOING THAT THING HE DID AS SCUM" but I'm not an expert on your meta and your posts don't look outrageously out of the ordinary anyway, so it ultimately tells me nothing.
Further, this is the wrong meta argument. The proper meta argument would have been 'I am occasionally known to compliment players' playstyles as both scum and town and here are instances where that happens.' Instead you present me 'Here's me interacting with a scumbuddy and adequately handling his pressure.'
If anything, you complimenting your voter's playstyle is outside your meta as you've presented it to me, which is even more interesting and even more worth pursuing especially given mastahcheese's alignment.
Citing your meta doesn't significantly sway me one way or the other.
Unvote. Congratulations, you have successfully appealed to your meta.
This backpedalling is pretty hilarious. How did Scripten successfully appeal to his meta?

This itself is very weak. The entirety of the suspicion is that mastahcheese looked like he was bandwagoning. Also note that Jim did post this on D1 about Scripten with a lot more reasoning, so it makes more sense to target him.
Scripten, is your only complaint against Deathsword about his activity? I did a quick reread of the thread. I can't recall you posting your reasons besides his activity.
I disagree that I'm doing it, but I like that you are looking for that sort of thing.
Complimenting the playstyle of the person voting you unnerves me, but I don't know enough about how you play to say whether that signifies anything about your alignment.

And even if Mastahcheese was Jim's #2 suspect on D1, it means Jim had no other suspects because his reasoning for mastahcheese was so thin.

I'd also like to know what made Jim change his mind about Pisskop being nooby to being scummy.

Right.  Except he doesn't.  He's giving us rat turds.  Those interpretations are your's, not his.  He hasn't given us anything.  A bunch of implications that fit into one line.
Look again.  Nowhere does he take a stance on any player.  Nowhere.
Persus13's interpretation is accurate.
Saying that I only have null reads is disingenuous when it's abundantly clear that on my list of reads there are people I suspect and people I think are town.
Why are you being disingenuous in pursuing your case on me?
Like otherwise stated, masta was looking to distance (I mislabeled it bussing) himself a bit from Jim, using especially nasty language.
Then you're doing a phenomenal job distancing yourself from me. You're practically running a marathon away from me at this point, with your snide nicknames and you're calling my reads rat turds.
My reads are very offended that you called them rat turds, by the way. I demand you apologize.
I'm just going to vote pisskop and call it a day.
Dude's scummy. By this point y'all should know why I think this.

This is super super super lazy. And from what it looks like, this vote is basically due to Pisskop saying Jim's reads are bad, which I have to agree that they are.

That last bit is not very convincing, ZU. Jim had been leaning towards voting Pisskop for pretty much the entire day- hence the "Y'all should know why I think this" bit.

Jim:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Is this one reason you were so suspicious of pisskop?

I don't see what this quote has to do with why I suspected pisskop.

N2 I blocked Jim.

Maybe you shouldn't have because I would be dead.

Nice forward thinking there.

Basically everyone is "meh" or "lurking".

This is untrue. I have town reads and I have scum reads and there are people I feel ambivalent about. How is this unusual?

Ambivalence is apparently forbidden. Only strong opinions and absolutes are allowed in games of mafia.

Also Jim said I was kinda scummy without any evidence or basically any prior suspicions.

Your bandwagon on flabort at the end of Day 1 was suspicious.

These D1 reads aren't great either.

. . .

Jim was right about TDS, but TDS was 3rd party so it doesn't really mean Jim is town. The rest are just discussing the Flabort/4mask thingy.

'Jim was right but his reads still sucked. Also he talked about the only thing that happened on Day 1 but that doesn't count.'

Also note here that Jim said Pisskop was being new-ish and then in D2 basically pushed for his lynch.

A lot more happened on Day 1 and this was not my final opinion on pisskop for Day 1, so you're being extraordinarily negligent with your argument.

You failed to notice (or failed to mention) that I voted pisskop for PMing flabort his kill list and then unvoted him after he started being really paranoid. I'm not a stranger to suspecting pisskop in this game.

Unvote. Congratulations, you have successfully appealed to your meta.
This backpedalling is pretty hilarious. How did Scripten successfully appeal to his meta?

What's so unclear about it? Did you read it? Maybe you should read it again. The entire exchange between me and Scripten, that is.

Scripten provided a meta argument in his favor. He provided examples of him complimenting other players in other games. If it's not outside of his meta to compliment people then it shouldn't be too outrageous that he would compliment mastahcheese despite his flip.

It's not backpedaling. Scripten and I went back and forth several times before I decided to unvote him.

This itself is very weak. The entirety of the suspicion is that mastahcheese looked like he was bandwagoning.

But he was bandwagoning!

The dude voted Scripten and pisskop in the same exasperated, flabbergasted tone. He basically said "Fuck it! I'm voting _____" for each vote, which is why it was so apparent that he was bandwagoning.

I'd also like to know what made Jim change his mind about Pisskop being nooby to being scummy.

I spent all goddamn day arguing with pisskop. I was on the fence about voting him pretty much all of the day because he kept doing scummy shit.

A sampling of scummy things that made me suspect pisskop on Day 2:

Failing to vote Tiruin at the end of the day despite saying he suspected her
Trying to convince Cheeetar to lynch me without first voting me
pisskop only suspecting me on Day 2 after I try to convince people not to treat him as autotown
pisskop's 'reaction test' on Cheeetar and trying to get him to claim who the medium was

This is super super super lazy. And from what it looks like, this vote is basically due to Pisskop saying Jim's reads are bad, which I have to agree that they are.

So after spending all of Day 2 arguing with pisskop over a bunch of shit, you conclude that I voted him because he called my reads bad, and not for any of the other stuff he did.

That's silly.

Even if your argument had merit there are enough holes and negligence to show that you didn't spend very much time or take very much care in constructing it.

Cheetar, I didn't post Persus's actions because he'd only told me one of them and he revealed his role and actions in the same post here.

Tiruin, that's not me ignoring your reads, though. That's me not having access to your read on pisskop and not believing you thought he was town just because you say so now.

Zombie, since you say Jim's reads suck, I assume you have better ones? Can we see them?

D1--Many people wanted to lynch him and stated so in their reads; I said he was Neutral rather than condemn him based on his playstyle.
...Though yes, I didn't directly say that >_>
...Right. I was working on implied idea instead of what I really wrote. Bluh.
Dear goodness my play this game has been at its nadir.

Yes you are. ZU is my N2 target; I got a Protect out of him.

Because he sent it to me in the event of his death. He's not dead, so I figured his reads were his own to do with as he would.

You were defending UXLZ for an action he took yesterday before giving him a chance to speak. Unless you are UXLZ, you probably don't know why he switched to pisskop, or at least all the reasons why he did so. He may have been suspicious of pisskop leading up to day end, but his switch didn't really have reasons attached besides pisskop not voting Tiruin if I remember correctly.

I wasn't defending him, just saying that his vote shouldn't be all -that- surirprising, since it came along with a healthy lead-up of suspicion. The point of the post was more to bring up that I found other behaviors suspicious myself and to add onto your line of questioning, not to subvert it.

Examples please (aside form NQT right now)

Looking back, it was only really Pisskop. He was pushing pretty hard, so I must have remembered it as more than one person. That being said, it's kind of a moot point now that everyone has claimed anyway.

Ugh, this game.

I've pretty much been spending all my time going over the claims and actions and trying to see if any scum patterns pop up.

Here, have some fruits of my labors.

Spoiler: N1 interactions (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: N2 interactions (click to show/hide)

Also, this:
CLAIM ORDER D2 (latest to oldest):

tiruin (N2)
zombie urist
scripten (n2 guns active)
(nqt mentioned tir targeting zu)
toaster
scripten
persus13
NQT
UXLZ
Tiruin
Jim

I'm feeling rather stumped presently, and my lunch break is over, so I'll have to come back to this later.

I second the extend. I haven't had a chance to do much digging, and some people have barely posted. We have yet to hear Tiruin's inspect N2 as well.

Some preliminary thoughts are that I doubt Scripten is a member of the scumteam if his claim is true, though.
