If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

"The girl reminds me of someone. I'll tell you about it later.

So of all six families in Matienburg, who do you think has the greatest squire? I'm thinking of challenging them for skill and honor."

After that lets just eat our meal be on our way.

(I can't believe it. We had a perfectly good opportunity for a side-quest there and you guys blew it! At the very least it would've been an interesting experience.)

Practice swordplay. Let's try getting our Combat up to 6.

(Oh, too bad, I didn't expect we would move out that fast. )
And I support raising combat to level 6, although I doubt wether lutz will make much progress after that, given the current lack of equally skilled opponents. Maybe after that we should work on other aspects?those will probably level up faster.
And indeed, the lesson wouldn't hurt.

We should really work on our archery.

Hmm, maybe you're right.
But still, it wouldn't hurt if lutz is able to do just a bit more than being extremely good at stabbing/slashing foes. A good knight also has to be a good rider, for example. Just saying.
As for archery, same, but we will not be able to have a decent shot at winning that contest.

We should really work on our archery.
Actually yeah, that's come up a few times. We'll learn with Abdal and then switch our focus to archery. Just enough so that we could theoretically go on hunting trips with important noblemen.
