If you could pick the next squire's starting location, would it be...

A southernly port where cultures and norms of society mix and clash with each other?
A westernly city akin to Marienburg, home of current squire in play?
An easternly outpost at the edge of kingdom's borders, a beginning of thisverse's Silk Road?
A northernly fortress where young men prove themselves in combat with giants, wildlings and mystical beasts?
Centre of the kingdom, trapping the young squire in a thick web of decadent court's schemings and plots?

We should really work on our archery.
Actually yeah, that's come up a few times. We'll learn with Abdal and then switch our focus to archery. Just enough so that we could theoretically go on hunting trips with important noblemen.
Pro, and do horseriding along. That has also been mentioned a few times. And that will also be needed for those trips.

Maybe we could go, and provoke the squires from others houses into fights for money?

Let's:
Study with Abdal for now
Train archery as a main until we get some time off
Challenge some squires to a fight for money when we get time off

Also, I can't believe we didn't go shirtless in front of Fanya. What a wasted opportunity.

I guess that one member of the family is enough for now.
And indeed, we'll take care of our general skills for now, we'll see how things go.
And it might be best to write a letter to our father once we have some free time.

And he's also gay so it wasn't for nothing. +1 to that last suggestion.

We'll write him informally at first asking about things back home and about our sister and describing what it's like here. We should then switch to semi-formal and tell him about Fenya and how we want permission to marry her. Mention that we get to keep our lands and name if we want but that it might be to our benefit to do a full merge with House Leafsong.

We'll then write a letter to Fenya using as much etiquette as we can telling her of the coincidence that as we were writing a letter to our father asking for permission to marry that the chamberlain entered with her letter. Tell her that it'll be about X amount of days before we receive a reply based on distance and that we can't wait to see her again.

We should then go back to archery while Cupid's blessing is still strong with us.

EDIT: The first thing we should mention to our father is that yes, we actually managed to learn how to read and write. We should probably practice our signature for a bit before we write the two letters.

So we needed to squire to send a letter to Lady Leafsong and protect it from bandits, but a single servant can do the job as well?
