It makes sense though! Yoko gets pregnant, realizes she can't fight as well anymore and goes off to be a schoolteacher. Then, she just finds out that she likes taking care of kids a lot and keeps on doing it. I mean, it fits with canon. The end of the series doesn't show her as not having a kid...

The best way to preempt the shippers is to make a love interest up with your character concept, then kill said love interest so you don't have to do anything revolving around that.
