Charge out onto the cobblestone road screaming about the end of time while swing our dagger around.

((Now that I know we can respawn i'm pretty much going to suggest bad awesome ideas from now on. Maybe a few OK ones if I feel like it.))

You guys aren't even going to survive to chapter 1 this time, are you?

You charge out into the street, screaming about the end of time, flailing your dagger wildly.
Nobody hears you, due to the combination of nobody being out this late at night, and the sound of that man getting thrown through a window slightly down the street.
The building he was thrown out of has a sign in front of it proclaiming it to be a tavern.
There are other signs in front of other buildings. Blacksmith, Fletcher, and so on.
Seems medievil.

I guess the problem comes from taking away the gravity of being killed in this game, so we can be free to go with the 'Dark Souls' method.
Okay, go see that sound.

You walk over to where the sound came from.
There's a guy laying on the ground, covered in blood and broken glass.
Looking in through the broken window, there's a barfight going on.

"Yo, dude."
You prod him lightly.
"YO."
He gives a drunken "Wharllreersargle"
Guess he's ok.

Grab his money, and head into the tavern.

You politely pilfer his pockets.
You obtain 4 coppery coins, and you stick them in your coat.
You walk up to the tavern door and open it, stepping inside.
There are quite a few people fighting each other in here.
One guy with a rather impressive neckbeard walks up to you.
"And just who do you think you-"
His sentence is cut short by a bottle crashing into his head, and he hits the floor with a thud.

Since your dagger would be rather lethal, and you don't want to get flat out killed, you put it away a grab a nearby chair.
It's lighter than you'd expect, what with half of it being missing.
A guy gets pushed into you, and nearly knocks you down.
The guy who got pushed doesn't notice you.
The guy who pushed him is alternating between laughing and vomiting.

Try to find the tavern keeper, using the chair as a kind of shield.
