Try to find the tavern keeper, using the chair as a kind of shield.
+1 While mumbling about the end of all life.
While beating down anyone hindering us.
While plotting how to kill everyone in the room.

Now we're getting somewhere.

You push the guy off of you, and bring the chair down on his head, dropping him to the floor.
The vomiting man points and laughs, before you give him a chair to the face, spewing chunks everywhere. "The End is upon us!"
It gets on one bar patron nearby, and he looks down in disgust at his now vomit soaked shirt.
He then looks up in rage at you. "Our time is at hand!"
He then looks closely at the floorboards. Very closely.
You think your chair is going to break soon. "Wither away, for dust is us all!"
You've made it about halfway to the counter, which the barkeeper is behind.
People are giving you odd looks now.

What's so interesting about floorboards? Keep trying to find the tavern keeper. Have a prophetic vision.

You shove your way to the counter.
You can see the barkeeper sitting behind it calmly.
There's quite a few people looking at you angrily now.
You fail to have a prophetic vision.

Bluff our way out of a hazardous situation and into a decently priced room for the night.

You turn around to face the angry mob, broken chair in hand.
"My fine gentlemen, I merely wish to acquire a fine-yet-reasonable-priced bunk to lay my weary head down upon, now if you'll-"
Your vision goes black as you're assualted by numorous drunken occupants.

You find yourself standing at the edge of a sheer cliff.
Looking around, there's no way down.
Off to the side, there is a man facing away from you.

"Muut? Are you back?"
The figure's head spins around, revealing the face of an owl.
Yup.
He holds out four arms, three of which are holding books. With the forth, he points to each book in turn.
"Ydob"
"Dnim"
"Tirips"
This again.

You grab the tome of Tirips.
It vibrates violently, as if urging you to open it.
Muut disappears in a puff of smoke, the other book vanishing with him.
Another pillar of dirt arises in the distance, with an evil man cackling wildly.
It's a Mariachi Man!
