Crawl to the team medic, if there is one, otherwise, bandage my arm using any means.

Amanda quickly exited her planes cockpit and awaited her new orders and plane.

It was standard practice, planes had limited flight time, 45 minutes or even less if full combat power was used, and radio was prone to getting intercepted so orders where given on the ground.

Try to find cover that is
a) not within grenade throwing distance of the enemy.
b) within a short sprint from me
if One is found move there, if not, continue shooting from the shell crater.

The Battle of Chenkov

30th Gelters Division, Chenkov Outskirts.

Franz

You glance at the other person in the crater, but can't see any details over the dust beside a steel helmet. You peer over the lip of the crater, and see a Genitian soldier in the window of the large house. You take aim, and fire on the Genitian, but the shot goes wide, hitting the wall six feet away. Before you can take another shot, the Genitian machine gunner in the upper window opens fire on your crater, and you duck back into cover.

Chloe

You scan the area in front of you for cover, and see another crater, this one deeper and empty, only a short sprint away. You pick up your gear and quickly sprint across the gap, as machine-gun bullets land around you. You dive into the crater, and after a few moments, the gunner returns to suppressing the crater you were in before.

4th Interceptor Unit, Rear Airbase.

Amanda

You climb out of your plane, and ask your CO for orders. He explains that the ground crew is rearming your plane, and refueling it. It should take a few minutes, and once they're done, you're to head back up and find the bombers over Chenkov. A second wave's been sent to soften up the city as the infantry move in, and if the first wave proved anything, it proved that they need more escorts.

25th Rustov Division, Chenkov Outskirts.

Vladimir

You look around, and call for the platoon medic. He runs over, inspects your wound, and quickly bandages it. He explains that it should be fine, and that you'll heal completely, but the arm won't be very useful for a few days. He gives you a quick shot of morphine, and runs back to his post. As he leaves, the marines from before arrive, and their leader walks up to you, introducing himself as Everett.

GSD Sopstov, Docked in Chenkov Harbor.

Vasily

The men finish reloading, and you fire one last shot, destroying two more tanks. The rest of the tank unit moves into the city, where you can't hit them, and the men shake their heads. Looks like you're all clear for now.

4th Marines Battalion, Chenkov Outskirts

Everett

As you duck into cover, you shout to your men to help the defenders, while laying the wounded man on the ground where the corpsman can help him. Then, you report to the officer in charge, Vlad, who seems to be nursing a wounded hand.

"This crater's no good...need to get closer to that damn house." Look back over at my squadmate. Suggest we make a sprint to better cover. Make a sprint toward the house, get behind the first cover I reach.

To the marine leader.
"Those fookin' bastards are in the craters. Flank 'em or something, dammit!"
Have a look out for any enemy movement to our sides.

"If you can put some suppressing fire on their positions then we can send a few to try to flank. Does your medic need help? We have a corpsman with us." Also, can you get the navy on the horn? We need some further orders and you are gonna need some supporting fire.

Order a fireteam to get ready to make a break to a nearby building on my orders, and there to mess up the attackers.

"Navy? I dunno, but I think our guns behind the hills will do. And please do help with the wounded."
Do try to call for artillery assistance, as well as order my men to do covering fire.

The Battle of Chenkov

30th Gelters Division, Chenkov Outskirts.

Franz

You briefly glance over at your crater-mate, about to say something, and realize that they've sprinted forwards to the next crater. You shake your head a few times, and grab your rifle, sprinting to the next crater. Right before you dive into the crater, you feel bullets ripping through your uniform, and grunt in pain. Sitting in the crater, you feel around, and find three holes in your pant legs, near your shin. It's bleeding pretty badly, and your pant legs are pretty quickly turning from grey to red.

Chloe

You watch the Genitian movements carefully, and, after a few moments, see an opportunity, firing at one of the riflemen. The bullet goes wide, however, and instead flies through the Genitian house behind him. You see the Egican machine gunner, still in the window, let off a burst, and hear a weight hit the ground behind you. You see the soldier who was in the crater with you before, nursing a shot shin.

4th Interceptor Unit, Above Chenkov

Amanda

You get back into your plane after it's refueled, and take off along with a handful of other Ekils. Above you, you see a large formation of two-engine bombers, heading towards the city. You climb up above the formation, and take up a position near the front, looking out for enemies.

25th Rustov Division, Chenkov Outskirts.

Vladimir

You take a quick look around, and don't see any Egican flankers. You head back into the house, and get Command on the radio.

"We don't have any guns on call, Sergeant. You know your orders. Hold the line."

Command begins to continue on, but you don't hear what he says, because a bullet hits the wall right next to you and you involuntarily duck.

GSD Sopstov, Docked in Chenkov Harbor.

Vasily

The men begin celebrating, and one breaks out a bottle of alcohol. After a few moments, however, one of the men suddenly stops, and gestures to be quiet. Soon, you can faintly hear the sound of propellers. You run to aft, and spot a squadron of Egican bombers heading towards the city.

4th Marines Battalion, Chenkov Outskirts.

Everett

You grab a few men, and, looking at a tenement flanking the Egican troops, you explain to them to sprint over there when you give the order. Your men nod, and get ready to run. Meanwhile, the rest of your men, without orders, run to the fortifications and begin firing at the Egicans.
