With the powerfull Genitian fighter above her, Amanda had only one option CLIMB.
Climb up, pull up from the fight and use the superb climbing speed of her lighter plane to gain attitude and speed.

Order my men to fire! Check our ammo supply, and join into the barrage with whatever gun I have.

Get out, find cover, identify where they're firing from and make the bastards pay. In that order.
Try to eliminate their machine gunner, if opportunity arises.

The Battle of Chenkov

30th Gelters Division, Chenkov Outskirts

Franz

You slowly wake back up. The first thing you see if a corpse, slumped over, sitting across from you. It's one of the men in your squad, with a hole through his neck, likely caused by shrapnel. As you think about shrapnel, you realize there's something stuck in your helmet. You pull it out, and realize it's a piece of shrapnel, coated in blood. Your ears also recover, and you realize that your squad has emptied out of the truck, and begun attacking the city.

Chloe

You jump out of the truck, running for cover. You see a shell crater about 10 feet away, and sprint over to it, holding your rifle. You dive into the crater as bullets kick up dust around you, and roll to the edge, looking for targets to shoot at. You quickly find the enemy machine gunner, sitting in the top floor window of a tenement, and fire a shot at him. The shot's dead on, but he swivels with the gun at the last moment, and the bullet misses by a hair. He quickly ducks into cover, feeling the bullet fly right past him.

4th Interceptor Unit, Above Chenkov

Amanda

As your wingman dives into a Split-S, trying to avoid being shot out of the sky, you pull the stick into your gut, climbing above the Genitian fighter. The lone Genitian follows your wingman into the Split-S, but he can't quite get a gun solution. Your wingman begins to climb back up, and the Genitian follows him, lining you up for a perfect shot. As the Genitian gets a gun solution, opening up on your wingman, you begin to fire at him. Your bullets tear through his plane, and, in a few seconds, his controls are completely shot, with his engine on fire. As his prop begins to stutter, and he starts to stall, his canopy pops off and he jumps out, pulling the ripcord on his chute. Your wingman levels out, and you pull up alongside him to see how bad the damage is. His plane is full of fist-sized holes, from the cannon, he's leaking oil, and his canopy is full of smaller holes from machine guns. He radios you, and explains that he's leaking fuel and oil, and he's lost some of his control surfaces. He's going to head back to base, and try to land.

25th Rustov Division, Chenkov Outskirts

Vladimir

You give the order, and your men begin to open fire. The initial barrage of rifle and machine gun fire downs at least 5 Egicans as they're climbing out of their trucks. You yourself fire your pistol at them, and hit one Egican rifleman climbing over the side, who topples over and falls off the truck. The Egicans return fire, but the bullets glance off the wall of the building without doing any damage. Doing some quick guessing, you decide that each rifleman in your unit probably has about 150 rounds of ammunition. There's also a small ammo cache on the ground floor of the tenement. The machine-gunner probably has about 1000 rounds. You also notice, out of the corner of your eye, a small squad of marines, the first line of scouts, falling back towards your position.

GSD Sopstov, Docked in Chenkov Harbor

Vasily

You fire the large gun, and watch as the large cannon shell flies towards the Egican tanks. The shell flies straight through the first tank, setting it on fire, and hits another tank in the side, exploding. You realize as you watch the aftermath that the fuse on the shell was set incorrectly, but the results are even better than you could have expected. You can see two Egicans jumping out of the first tank, carrying a third, while it burns, and the second tank has been almost completely destroyed. You're pretty sure the tanks around the explosion were damaged as well, but none as badly as those two. The crew laughs at the results, and one of them claps you on the back.

5th Marines Squad, 4th Marines Battalion, Chenkov Outskirts

Everett

You and your squad were commandeered from your cruiser for the defense of Chenkov. Due to the small size of your unit, you were put on the outskirts to spot the Egicans, and delay them for a few minutes. After a short, undecisive firefight with a squad of Egican soldiers, your squad withdrew to the second line of defense. The nearest post you know of is a tenement, commanded by an officer named Vladimir. You've arrived in the area, and can see Vladimir's unit firing on the Egicans a few hundred yards behind you.

[if there are still tanks to shoot]
"Now is not the time to celebrate, the enemy sits alive out there ready to attack. Fire another shell, we can't aford to waste our time celebrating when we could be killing those dirty inhuman monsters!"
Fire another shell into the tanks

[if there are no tanks]
"Excellent shot!"
Look at the officer,"What should we do now sir?"

Throw grenades into the craters the enemy is probably hiding in.

The Battle of Chenkov

30th Gelters Division, Chenkov Outskirts

Franz

You quickly grab the dead man's tags, knowing that you risk a confusion of identity if you get killed in the battle, and quickly get out of the truck, running for cover. Bullets land around your feet, kicking up dust, but you just barely manage to dive into a bomb crater without being hit. You quickly assess the situation, and see that, along with the one person in the crater with you, your squad is spread out across open ground, slowly advancing towards the Genitians.

Chloe

You quickly scan the enemy positions, looking for targets, and see a Genitian, about to throw a grenade. You fire a shot at him as he brings his arm back, and hit him in the arm. He recoils backwards in pain, and quickly tosses the grenade out of the trench haphazardly, before ducking into cover.

4th Interceptor Unit, Above Chenkov

Amanda

You escort your wingman back to the airbase, and he limps along, damaged. He gives the base forewarning, and they guide him in over the radio. Your fellow pilot puts his plane on the ground, and his plane spins out on the field. The ground crew quickly clears the field, and you go in for your landing. You easily land the mostly undamaged fighter, and quickly taxi it off the strip, as you see bombers coming in. As you turn off the engine, one of your superiors from the squadron runs up to you, gesturing for you to get out of the plane.

25th Rustov Division, Chenkov Outskirts

Vladimir

As you cock back your arm, preparing to throw the grenade into a crater, an Egican in the crater fires a single shot, and you feel the bullet impact with your arm. You quickly toss the grenade out of the trench, and take cover, looking over your wound. The bullet appears to have hit a minor artery, and it's bleeding, but it could've been far, far worse. You notice out of the corner of your eye that the marines from before have arrived at your position, and one of them is a corpsman.

GSD Sopstov, Docked in Chenkov Harbor

Vasily

The gun crew quickly reloads the gun, and you fire another shot at the tanks. The shot is off, and the explosion only barely clips the lead tank in the formation, damaging it's track. A few of the men on the gun curse, and quickly get back to reloading it.

5th Marines Squad, 4th Marines Battalion, Chenkov Outskirts

Everett

You quickly give the men under your command orders, and they sprint across the street, towards the friendly position, keeping their heads low. You follow them in the rear, and two of the men in front of you get hit. You quickly grab one of them, and the corpsman grabs another, helping them get to the friendlies. As you run to the position, you suddenly flinch, and, when you're in cover, you reach into your back pocket. You pull out a pack of cigarettes, and realize the pack stopped a bullet, still lodged in it.

Glance at the other person in the crater, then peer out of the crater toward the enemies. If I have a shot, fire at them.
