Having read the spoilered text in the OP, my first reaction is irritation at the writer. Concepts like 'inclusion', gender equality' and the like really sceeve me, in part because of how one-sided and situational they can be.
Hatred depicts the killings of ethnic minorities and helpless women, as well as cops, white males, and almost everybody else. There is nothing in this game that I have seen that is in any was exclusive or 'unequal' (and if there was thats another conversation and frankly an artistic choice on the part of the designers, not something we should be able to destroy to make some butt-hurt game maker happy). At the risk of sounding sympathetic to a juvenile and pointless game I am in favor of letting them make their trash. It doesnt look to be a good game for doing anything other than making the violent fantasy more graphical.
I believe that it will capture the attention of those already interested in violence, but aside from making the violence more brutal and upfront it doesnt do anything. Hell, as far as concepts go, this game is old. Postal old. The offensive part is solely in its perceived callous cruelty. We have conceptual and abstract games doing what this has done and worse for many, many years. DF is magnitudes more violent, and cruel, and games like Destroy All Humans and GTA have long given you the chance to torture civilians. Torture and Sadism is not a new concept to games.

Hatred is apparently about the equal killing of all, something many video games substitute. Lets not pretend this is about gender equality. If you want to be equal, lets be equal and not try to play the innocent bystander when a game broaches the subject. This is about its violent content. Not racial undertones. Or was, until somebody brought it there.
