Not-actually-doubleposting: 92 screenshots later, the turn is run. I still have to write it up, and imgur has been giving me problems lately when I upload a ton of stuff all at once. Update probably inbound tomorrow.

Redking, hydrophobic makes you cry after you take a shower...
That explains the breakdown. Huh.
That's...hmm. I live a conflicted life, obviously.
In real life, I can't swim so I avoid swimming pools and the like, but I would stay in a hot bath or shower all day if I could.
Though oddly, I'm not bothered with being on a boat or hiking along the river in the backyard. I guess I just always have this mentality that if I fall in, it'll be like "Well, that sucks. Time to die."

It's always weird to see people who can't swim. In Belgium, swimming is mandatory in school from first grade to graduation.

I don't swim well, either. I just sink.

Yeah, I do that too. I'm fairly light, but I am very dense and have a low surface area. I can swim if I go really fast forward to get lift, but I can't keep that up long. I literally cannot tread water.

That was always my problem. Too damn thin, and the pectus excavatum means low lung capacity so even taking a deep breath, I lacked sufficient buoyancy.

I've got more meat on me now, but I still seem to lack buoyancy overall. And after three near-drowning experiences, I'm not really inclined to learn swimming and suffer through more of them.

I'm not thin by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm very dense from when I was nothing but muscle. Then again, i couldn't swim as a kid, either. Like Barbarossa, I can keep myself above water by doggy paddling at full power, but not for very long.

Swim talk ITT? Well, thanks to playing the tuba, I have some serious lung capacity. I'm not very buoyant when I breathe out, but when I breathe in I'm very buoyant and have serious trouble diving. Overall I'm a pretty lousy swimmer, though.

I'm super light and skinny, I can tread water with half my body up out of the water... Hips and up out. It's a bit tiring though...

Huh, weird. I have very efficient lungs from years of running and playing the euphonium, but they don't hold all that much air. Couple that with my dearth of buoyant tissue and I have to kick very hard to stay above water at all if I'm not moving forward.

According to my euphonium playing friend, who has tried out my tuba on occasion, there's a world of difference in the amount of air required to play the two instruments.

I've played both as well, though I don't own a tuba so I don't practice it. It takes about twice as much air to make a note of the same volume, since the instrument is twice as long. I haven't actually tested how long I can hold a note on a tuba, but with one deep breath I can usually hold a moderate note for 45 seconds or so on a euphonium. Indefinitely with circular breathing, but being able to breathe in through your nose while you blow out through your mouth isn't very useful underwater.  :P

I didn't forget about this, guys. Imgur is giving me shit for uploading a bunch of stuff all at once, and it just quits uploading in the middle of a string of pictures, leaving me to try to upload them all again. I'll try to get this up and going later today.
