Albert seemed somewhat in thought for a moment, before turning to look at Laura.
: "Ah. Well it's fine, combat is pretty hectic and I guess people manage it in different ways.. And um. I don't think that stabbing and killing are all that you're good at, even if you don't know it. So please don't worry about it."
Albert then turned to Tomik, and gave a short nod.
: "That sounds pretty good.. We do need to keep on running, and I guess if we stayed we might endanger the town.."

Lamden sat just outside, quietly ripping some extra strips of leather off the saddle he found on his own draft horse, tying them around a sling he fashioned together to carry his staves. He definitely had a tough time of it, using only one arm and his teeth to do so, but he was still managing it at a slow rate.

Senija woke up to find basically everyone was downstairs except for her and Lilly. Well... might as well wake her up.
:'Ey. Ey, everyone's up basically."

There was a series of sounds in response: someone getting out of bed, haphazardly shuffling around a room and getting dressed, then shuffling to the door and opening it.

"Mmm. What time is it...?"

After a yawn, Lilly blinked blearily and seemed to focus.

"Oh, uh, Senija! Good... morning, is it?"

[Powder Miner]

:"Neh... heck if I know. Only recently got up myself."
It was then she noticed Lilly's shirt and suddenly grinned mischieviously.

"What...? What are you looking at?"

Lilly moved to self-consciously adjust the shoulder of her shirt before realizing what it was Senija was looking at and why her shirt felt looser than normal... and it wasn't because she had forgotten her scarf.

"Um...."

She nervously half-turned away and started smoothing her hair down with her hands, trying to hide her face and buy some time to think of a reasonable explanation. But it was no use. She glanced at Senija out of the corner of her exposed eye.

"I, uh..."

Senija didn't seem particularly upset.
:"Nhahahahaha ^{_{he actually took my advice,}} haha, ohh I'm gonna give him so much shit about this.

[SeriousConcentrate]

Senija was laughing. That just made the whole situation worse.

"Er, maybe, not, if you wouldn't mind, I mean? At least, not around anyone else? Um. It's just Laura, uh, really seemed to be up her own nose about this sort of thing last night..."

"...I mean I guess I can't stop you, and I guess if we're going to be traveling as a group everyone else will find out sooner or later... Not like Harlan and Kyle didn't already make comments before we even did anything..."

"Er, not that... _{yeah ok, no point lying about it...}"

The bard wrung her hands nervously, standing aside so Senija could enter the room instead of them having this conversation where anyone could see or hear them.

[Powder Miner]

Senija did in fact enter the room.
:"Eh... don't worry, not about to make the mistake I did yesterday of blabbing about that sort of thing right in front of everyone...
:"Anyway, if Laura or whoever gets on your case or Tomik's about it, they're just gonna haveta deal. With me.
Senija smacked one palm into the other, ripping the veil off of the veiled threat and then stomping on it.

Lilly closed the door after Senija and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Oh. Well, that's good. I was, uh, I was worried you wouldn't take it this well. _{Even if it's still an embarrassing situation.}"

She patted the bed to let Senija know she could sit down too if she wanted.

"But, I mean, you're... OK with this, right? I mean, I don't want to cause any trouble between you and your brother."

[Powder Miner]

:"I've got no problem with it! ...hell, truth be told, I told Tomik to go for what he can while he can."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Oh? Oh. I see. Er, well, then."

Lilly laughed quietly and rubbed the back of her neck.

"It's just, we were getting along so well, and one thing led to another, and I didn't even stop to think about what you might think. You know. If I, uh, if I wanted to maybe keep seeing your brother. As more than a friend, I mean. So... sorry for not considering you, like I should have."

[Haspen]

"That's good." She looked at Harlan, then back at Albert.

"I guess I shall go eat something before we have to leave."

The stew she got herself wasn't tasty at all.

[Ochita]

Albert gave a small inquisitive look when Laura turned to look at Harlan, but quickly dropped it when he saw Laura look back at him. Shrugging, he quickly began to eat the rest of his porridge and drink the rest of his water.

:"Still fine with it. Why wouldn't I be? I mean, I'm his sister, not his master or something."
She shrugged.
