"Er, well, I didn't mean it like that. I meant more if... well, I don't know... if maybe this turns out to be more of a permanent thing."

She put her hands on her knees and looked down.

"Well, I mean, we haven't talked about plans for the future or anything... It's just something to think about, you know?"

Senija continued to grin.
:"No, seriously, I support you two and everything. I mean... geesh, how many times do I have to say it: I'm not upset, don't disapprove, none of that."

"So... completely OK with maybe possibly I don't know but could be sister-in-law kind of thing? If the chips fall that way, I mean?"

[GiglameshDespair]

"We're heading east. I imagine we'll visit less ports than you would as a pirate, Kyle."

She sipped her tea, regarding him coolly.

[Sirus]

: "Besides, from what I hear the place is mostly a desert. Some underground cities, according to tavern stories. I doubt there'd be many ports at all."

  "We have at least three more months at sea missy, pirates spend less time in port than you think."
Kyle drops the knife and brings his other hand up to his face to inspect it.

"Of course, there's something else to consider."

She retrieved the knife and resuming tapping it between her fingers. The single eye was focused on her hand, not looking at Kyle.

"The rest in this group seem to want a peaceful life, as much as they can. If you see this man, I assume you will attempt to end his life. That may drag the rest of us into conflict. Especially as you have already mistaken someone who is clearly not the right man as your target."

A thumbs up.
:"Sure thing."

  "You say that like I want to spend my whole life searching for revenge. As soon as I kill him I'm going to do something I've always wanted to do since I was fifteen years old."

: "You're going to attend school?"

Kyle shakes his head.
  "I'm going to move to the mountains to meditate and train myself to become a paragon of the male form."

Lilly smiled at Senija and slipped Tomik's shirt off, then hunted around and found her own halfway under the dresser. She put it on and fixed her scarf.

"Well, that's one worry off my mind, anyway!"

The bard opened the door.

"Let's go down and see what the others are doing, maybe get something to eat before we get on our way."

"Oh! Uh, hm. I guess I should leave this in Tomik's room first. I'll see you down there."

Lilly carried the shirt to Tomik's room and folded it neatly at the foot of the bed before heading downstairs.

"Good morning, everyone!"

She waved cheerily to the group.

"That's the other thing I was thinking about. We don't want to run the risk of these kind folks becoming in danger for our actions. I was thinking we should suggest to them that they pretend we threatened to hurt them if they didn't help us or something along those lines."

Just then, Lily came down the steps. Smiling, he waved her over.

"Lily! Come join Albert and me. I apologized for my thoughtlessness and rudeness last night and now we're talking about next steps in our plans and all."

Senija peeked her head out of Lilly's door, too, and fixed Tomik with a truly sinister grin.

"OK."

Lilly walked over and sat down across from Tomik, folding her hands on the table. She glanced over at Senija's expression, then returned her gaze to Tomik's.

"So, um, what have we got in mind? Still heading east, right?"
