((Andres, I was saying what they would try to do, not what happens. Anyway, I was planning to quit around now, so bye guys.))
Fair enough. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Sorry to see you go.

Tomorrow we will have a mock battle for testing
It will be in the plains
It will only be about 1,000 soldiers per army
Choose whatever you want
I need two nations for this, border restrictions do not apply so I just need two for
400 Heavy Infantry
400 Archers
200 Cavalry

Ok now I need one more army

I'm up for it. Aerindinus is ready to parade the virtues of organisation and training.
Aerindinus, that's your call. Just pick what troops you want to represent you.

So
A few lines of pike men infront of a formation of crossbows and some heavy units mixed in with the pikes and the artillery behind all of that?

You know what, drop me out. I don't like that the rolls for our actions STILL aren't posted. What's the sens of reacting to events if nothing happens nevertheless? Trading is pointless too.

Please, the rolls are important. I'll stay for some more time, but it's almost been two weeks!

ok
tell me if this isnt ok or i miss anything,

a row of Balista sit behind the formation of ranged cross bows being protected by pikes and heavy infantry while in the distance there is a cloud of dust as the attackers appear, cavalry in the lead with archers and heavy infantry formations following behind
the dust begins to settle as the attackers stop a few hundred feet away to wait the beginning of the battle
defense [10]
attackers[8]
The balista let loose firing missiles (ranged projectiles) into the formations of the attackers.
the accuracy of the shots is in question as most of them miss, but the ones that hit, hit heavy as the attacking side was not prepared for a peppering of artillery.
((neither side is in range of bows/crossbows just close enough for artillery))

Attackers forces
400-15= 385 heavy
400-10= 390 archers
200- 5 = 195 cavalry
((so either charge at them or move in so your archers can fire, or both))
[waiting for attacker action post and defender action post]

Have my archers target his. The cavalry should go around his army and prepare to charge. The infantry will advance but not engage.
