[insert longish backstory here]

Because I wanted to make a world after a terrible world war that used genetic engineering and the such and by the end tech was absolutely gone
And a fascist state would be able to operate pretty easily under these curcumstances, IMO

And when you say fascist who are you referring to?

The Fascist society I want would take influence from Hitler and Mussolini, which would include a hypercentralized authoritarian government mobilizing its people on a basis of racial superiority and nationalism. Problem being is that hypercentralization, industrial superiority, police state/secret police, etc., are difficult to incorporate with medieval tech, Fascism is bound to industry innately, as you can't find a Fascist society that doesn't operate without massive amounts of machinery.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

((http://postimage.org/ works well for me, and I think that is what the last guy ended up using))

How exactly do I use this?
Just choose an image and upload it? Then what?

I was the last guy who ended up using it. I uploaded my own (poorly-made Paint map) onto it and everything was fine.

Does that mean that the Redguards are hippies or that everyone is just awful and should just die? Can't we just keep the grimdark out of it?

I don't think we really have any nation that isn't grimdark (Slave nation, racist nation, drug addicted nation, child soldier nation...)

That must have taken forever to draw :o.

What slave nation? Sapiastan is too funny to be grimdark. Ditto for CoAaS, except they're like your stoner room mate. I see Terra Arma as a more benign Lord of the Flies-esque country - not really grimdark if it's benign.

I'd comment on the map but TAFE's filter is blocking it. :(

Not these elves :P

And Stirk, the Terra arma have one GLARING weakness: The lack of armour. Any blow against one would be more or less lethal, and the ballista could skewer several at a time. That, and charging into a full hedge of long pikes isn't going to be good for one's health either.

And if the ballistae have a hundred rounds each, and are able to fire all of them at the mob, that's a VERY large portion of it GONE, especially if it's piercing through bodies.

A ballista would pierce through 3 guys max. 4 since these guys have no armour. 4 * 100 and that's about 400 dead minus (all the bolts that missed or killed less than the maximum). That would mean 400 per volley, with a naturally long reload time vs an army that has a minimum of 10,000 soldiers but is likely to have many more. The minimum population for the city-states is 70,000 and it's not uncommon for Terra Arma to send half its population to war at a time, so you're looking at an army of about 35,000 in most cases. Now what can less than 5,000 men in an open field with a few ballistae do against an army of that size?

Even a Thermopylae battle against them wouldn't work since THEY also have artillery. It's also implied that they don't have any logistical problems when it comes to food, water, and medicine. I don't see any way that ANY army could beat them, short of simply fielding a big enough army.
