[SG?] Unidentified Target-Eight Lives!
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:16:16 pm »

Well, today was my birthday (Two more years and I can purchase handguns!), so I thought when I got back from shooting things and watching anime that I might as well try something new. So here it is, my first suggestion game, forgive me for messing everything up ahead of time. In this game, we all play an unidentified man (Or woman?) who wakes up with amnesia. I would tell you more, but we have amnesia thus know nothing more.

---------------

I lean up in my bed, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings.

The room I am in doesn't look like a hospital or cell. Why can't I remember anything?

It actually looks a lot like a hotel room. I am not even sure how I know what a hotel room looks like, I can't even remember what I look like.

I step carefully out of bed, deciding I at least know how to walk. In the corner of the room I see a mirror, and walk toward it. To know anything, one must know oneself. I think that is a quote or something, still no memory.

I look at the mirror, touching it, seeing the:

...seeing the pale skin of your slightly angular face and the sanguine eyes that watchfully look over our appearance; the long and beautiful black hair that we call our own. We are a vampire woman, with the look and all.

A brown hairded man with a goate. Average build with a bit of a acne problem or skin irritation on my chest.

The bad news is that this is not our room at all, gone are the tasteful gothic furnishings, in there place is the faint air of a hospitable or a cheap hotel.
The air smell of bleach and the cameras in the celling  give you the hint that some one wants  to keep an eye on you.

Not sure how long it is customary to wait, but pretty sure it has been enough time.

Yes. I am a vampire.

It was no wonder I couldn't remember my face. Normal mirrors don't work on me, right? This is probably the first time I have seen myself in years.

Unless I just turned into one?

My head still feels empty. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, but I feel strengthened by at least knowing what I am.

I continue to hold my palm against the mirror, as if it would help me absorb every detail of my own face.

"Identity confirmed. Welcome."

A female, computerized voice spoke to me as the mirror left my palm, entering the wall behind it. Suddenly, that wall fell too, revealing a larger room. It was dark, but my vampire eyes saw everything as bright as day.

It was a well-stocked armory. Incredibly well stocked. Pistols, assault rifles, sub machine guns, machine guns, anti-materiel rifles, anti tank rifles, grenade launchers.....any weapon imaginable, from WWI to modern day. I find myself able to name the model and purpose of each and every one as I touch them.

Was this some kind of vampire power I forgot about? Or was I just a gun nut before getting amnesia?

"No it's clear now, we have the greatest superpower of all, GUNS.

Of course it's part of the job, as a black Inquisitor, we have keep the night in order.
Remove witness, destroy evidence and keep order, make sure other follow the code.

Take the Mitrailleuse and few block of silver ammo for it.

....Really? All right?

I walk past the vast arsenal of practice, cool, and sensible guns, walking all the way to the back corner of the room. Finally, I found what I had been looking for!

A black powder artillery piece that was considered inferior even at the time it was used! ....Somehow, I think I am making a stupid decision.

I start to push the two thousand pound gun towards the door. It is difficult for me even with my increased vampire strength. I finally get it to the door when I see that it won't quite fit through the current entrance. Shame, if I want it I will have to find a way to get it out.

Simple we leave the carriage behind and take just the gun, it's still 340 kg and some more for the ammo but we can get it past the door now.

(Grab a few pistols on the way out as well)

Edit: what are we planing to do with it?

I'm partial to the idea of a vampire cop / mob enforcer / man in black combo role or a criminal / assassin.

Planning to do with it? No clue, we have amnesia. Apparently our first response to finding an armory is to find the most bulky, ineffective weapon we can and drag it out.

--------

I decide to pull the gun off the carriage by my self, trying my best to hold the 750 pound piece in any meaningful way.

It. Is. Difficult.

I set it down on the side, figuring an extra few pounds in pistols wouldn't hurt anything.

I walk up to the pistol wrack, grabbing a SIG P239 and Walther PP in armpit holsters, and an m1911 government model and a Skorpion in belt holsters. At least one of those guns has a higher rate of fire then the black powder artillery piece I picked up.

I then return to my main weapon, lifting it as if it where a barbell, and walk out of the armory. The door closes as I leave, showing my reflection once again, now holding a huge gun.

Suddenly, the doorbell rings, exactly once.

''It's the vampire hunters''

Fire with the Mitrailleuse to kill those on the other side.

Is that the only option I am being given? So be it!
---------

I think rationally about what could be on the other side of the door. Of course it probably doesn't want to harm me, seeing as it knocked.

But some crazy part of me keeps saying it is just incredibly polite vampire hunters, and that I should pump the door full of holes. Somehow, that part wins out. I guess my vampire instincts simply forced me to pull the trigger...

I brace my huge gun the best I can with one hand, give up on that and try to balance it on my knees, give up on that and just go prone. Then I pull the crank and send all twenty five bullets into the door.

The deafening sound of rifle fire fills the small space, it would take my hearing if I was a normal human. The door itself splinters apart as the volley hits it, revealing a blown up brown box outside. It looks like it once had something electronic in it, but it has been completely torn apart.

No one else seems to be in the hallway.
